I hope the guys who have been waiting/trying for years to see this are in awe. I had been searching for the DVD for over 10 years with no joy, then got to watch on a streaming service after being told about a VPN (Live in the UK so not available as we suck) Literally the documentary movie that ate my brain for those years ha ha.

Fantastic video, l actually met Norm at a car show in Toronto, Canada years ago. He was at a booth with the second version of the Kookie rod, all by his self . I knew a little about him and we talked for a while about his life and he Signed an autograph, what a thrill ! Thanks for this.

I had the pleasure of meeting with and sharing my art with Von Franco, while he was getting his leg inked at the Sept 10 2001 Tattoo- Hot Rod Convention on Plainview, Long Island NY. We had a great conversation for about a half an hour, he gave me a bunch of cool printed mementos and I was very impressed with a nice, upbeat, friendly and talented guy he is!! Excellent Video !!!!

Great film!! Love the vintage shots and movies. I actually like the Lightnin' Bug version better than the 77 Sunset Strip version. 🙂

The 50's would have been a good time to be a hot rodder. No crowded roads, and no smog laws. I got lucky, and came of age at a good time too. In the mid-70's muscle cars starting being sold off by the original owners as used cars very cheap prices. I bought a 1970 SS Chevelle 396 for $800 in 1977, and a 1970 Buick GS Skylark 455 for only $700 in 1979. I owned and drove both cars for over 10-years.

Piero. One of the few times I never went to are super Nat here in England was when you and lucky came and when norm came over. Why me moment in my life. Like others have said I’ve watched this and monster teenage t shirt painter so many times on your dvds. Who’s the coolest? Norm or von Franco. I’d say it’s pretty dam close. What a fun pair to be around. Cheers best wishes. Tim.

I don't how much travelling you are doing these days to record/edit, but someone of interest may be Matt at iron trap. The cars he's acquired over the years have some historical relevance to the hotrod scene through the years, would be a great colab to get your perspective and editing skills on the video.
