Hey, I pray your family and you get close again. When my mother was alive she watched your show she loved the way your family was tight and you all had a close relationship with God. She got me watching Alaskan bush people and I admired the close family and God relationships also. I always dreamed of living off the land on a couple acres in North Carolina I like the mountains I just turned 50 though and have a lot of health problem now so I just live vicariously through people like you. I tried to make a small garden in the front yard and couldn't keep it up. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you thanks for bringing my family some joy. I was saddened by your fathers passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. God bless you and keep you safe.

Hi Matt, thanks for sharing part two of your adventure up chopaka, I know you love this place and I know why it’s so beautiful up there and away from your normal everyday life. It gives you peace but I worry that’s when it’s dark you can’t see danger as in animals or people that don’t know you are up there. Take care and I can’t wait for your next video part three coming soon I hope 🤗❤️

I’ve watched you ever since ABP and watched you struggle to be a true and genuine you. I’m extremely, beyond words, so proud of you Matt that you got out of that life style and got the help that you needed to become the man that you are today and you’ll continue to become in the years to come. 2 years of being completely clean of drugs and alcohol is a massive accomplishment. That is definitely something to be celebrated and just think you’ll be celebrating 20 years being clean before you know it. My youngest sister used drugs for 20 years and at the end of this month June; she will be celebrating 13 years clean. I’m EXTREMELY proud of both of you and can’t wait to see what life brings your way. Keep up the amazing work Matt.

Hey there my friend, Matthew!! It was really great to watch this video!🦋🌸 The area is so beautiful🌌🌌. It takes me back in time to thousands of years ago which I believe it does for you too🗺️🗺️. I always think of history when seeing these places, prehistory, and of the minors that came through that area in the 19th century🏚️🏚️! There are actually some really awesome historic pictures on the Library of Congress website. They are of the old cabins🏚️ in the area where you are and the miners that did their mining around Loomis 🗺️🗺️🌌🌌🏚️🏚️. On another note: The part where you talk about your ability to figure out what's going on with the tree and how a moose chewed it is so much fun! You are so intelligent! I love it when I have the opportunities to do that too with my career in historic architecture and archeology. I know... I talk about it a lot lol it's something that makes me happy 😁! I love sharing it with everyone if it brings happiness and inquisitiveness about history to others too💚. I love it when you take us along on the journey, the little old cabin is so amazing! Camping out under the stars🌌 and the small fire🔥🐾 is my type of peace, so I really appreciate you filming🎥 the adventure! When I'm in nature It's like nothing in the world matters but nature and God ✝️at that point 🙏 there is something incredibly healing about nature and the wild! Well my friend, I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening🍓 ! -Your friend always, Lisa🌸 from the Palmetto State 🌴🤗PS my favorite verse from the Bible is John 16:33✝️J:3.16 is also awesome!

Fun video! Your laugh always makes me giggle but I laughed out loud when mentioned being crazy. I liked you barking to ward off anything/anyone. You are not too loud. I hope that gun fire was a warning and people not being stupid. I grew up tent ⛺️ camping. Loved it. My cousins and I still adore camping. I am glad to see you carry protection and didn’t wait time to bring it out. Hey Matt, I think that was Bigfoot and not a moose lol 😝! Did you see moose droppings ? What a weird time you had there this time. My mom use to carry salt in her purse, it was crazy. I like my life alot too. Learning to know myself and who I am now has been very rewarding. I've never lived on my own until a few years ago, When my mom, dad, and brother died. I had the opportunity after that to move away from the city and be on my own for the 1st time ever. I do get bored sometimes tho. Do you? I'm glad you enjoyed your time out there and the fire is beautiful. I love the crackling of a fire. God is good Matt, im glad you have your scripture with you. Did you ever figure out what the noise was. I wonder if it was the moose??? Anyhow Matt Brown, as usual it's nice to see your face and see what your up to. I'm 🏡 and busy doing yard work so I don't get fined. I mean seriously what is that. Who fines people. It's so lame, but I gotta do it. Love your growl. Hehe. Looking forward to your next post. So super glad you are well. How's the orchard. Love those little 🌼 🌸 🌻 flowers. I love fruit fresh from the tree. Stay strong my front.

Hi Friend 👋🏻 What a way to spend your "Two years To the Day" exactly how you wanted. BIG Congratulations. You got to have a good catch up with your buddy & some nice warming food, set yourself up for the adventures ahead. Could see how much you were enjoying the day & that was great. I felt I experienced the wilderness, love the sound of a crackling fire & the fireside view must have looked other worldly. You definitely are a wilderness man, so much knowledge. I heard the birds, second watch around. So interesting, the moose & then you spotting where it had grazed, you know all the signs. The knowledge of nature flora & fauna constantly. What a trip! Felt completely inclusive even from a far in GB. Like a fire you have a warmth, thank you for sharing this VERY special trek.

Matt I'm so proud that you're looking so good and you're feeling so good. But as a mom that sounded like gunshots, maybe it's some kind of hunting season? And as a mom I'm telling you you're eating too much salt, you're not 18 anymore. It's not healthy for you, just looking out for your best interest. I'm so glad you made it to the point to get cell phone connection and I'm glad that you have friends there that are looking out for you, cuz I know all of us that watch are wishing you the best and watching your back too. And we also enjoy taking this journey with you in the wilderness and in your recovery. Take care and God bless you always. 💙💙💙

We need salt to stay healthy it's hard to gauge how much someone is eating unless they are eating lots of processed foods, first thing they give you when you go into hospital I'll is a saline drip. Like good fats we need them o stay healthy, sugar is our mortal enemy.

excellent video matt. Full of suspense. Could see you were having a bit of a rough time with memories but you faced them head on and dealt with it as best you could before heading back down to the corale. I think the red jeep spooked you quite a bit . Probably because it was unexpected- it kind of caught you off guard and blew you sideways. It all makes for good experience though matt 😊 . Well going to watch a bit more then sleep. Take care matt. The minute your anxiety starts creeping in just nip it in the bud by returning to the moment otherwise dwelling on something for too long can be unhealthy and not good for the soul. No doubt you know all this as you have a good head on your shoulders. From your friend Liz in nz 😎

Great job Matt on your 2yr. journey. I love your message and you do a great job of sharing what you have learned. I think you would enjoy Eckert Tolle. He talks about "Now" and I like his messages. Take care, Matty Jack

Get a spotlight. A good one will run ya about $75-100. But on times you need to see what's deep in the shadows. You can light it up. I used to do just a mag light. But after seeing how useful some of these spotlights are I always try to bring one. A good head lamp comes in handy as well. Congratulations on two years sober.
