The coolest part for me is that even though I'm not a MadMax car guy, I really like what you did with this, and the amazing work spent on the frame and suspension parts. I mean, it's ugly, but its a fantastically-crafted ugly ... with awesome body, paint and theme details that tie it all together. This series has been surprisingly enjoyable in more ways than I anticipated, gotta say.

As somebody who loves the post apocalyptic aesthetic, I'd say all the spikes, skulls and barbed wires are more of a blitzkrieg effect, in that they're to intimidate the enemy and give the driver confidence, and in a last ditch effort they might help you out in a pinch

Amazing as always. I did notice one teeny mistake. Three of the tires are reversed. The treads point in the wrong direct. This would effect handling especially in difficult terrain. It happens. I just put a tire on my bicycle backwards in haste, and that's after doing it professionally for years! You're forgiven and I love your vids.

I'm not entirely sure if it was intentional, but the acrylic you used on the spaceframe in the undercarriage actually looks a little like a very rudimentary powder-coat, which is great for this. It also makes the glued joints look properly welded. Very good job!

I so appreciate your videos it seems we have something in common we both like tools. I'm a bladesmith I make custom knives, the tool I think you would probably get a lot of use out of is called a Fordham. It's similar to a Dremelexcept it has a handpiece and a floor pedal to control the speed. It has high torque at low speed and is much more controllable than a Dremel tool. And the bits are easier and faster to change. Low speed torque means you can remove material rapidly with out burning it. I have one and would never consider using a Dremel again

@xxVincentVxx5 жыл бұрын
You know this reminds me of when movies make movie references. Say Ghost Busters is just a movie in Mad Max, so someone got a hold of a full replica version of the car and then this is what they did. Then I just imagine that person driving around terrorizing people making Movie quotes all the time :)
@charlesjones327875 жыл бұрын
That would be pretty awesome lol
@WA_Stokins5 жыл бұрын
Or, what if, someone gets ahold of a replica car (perhaps it's stolen from a collector, or found in an abandoned garage or something) and they gets really annoyed when everyone ELSE keeps quoting the movie at them. It's an easy way to get a few extra bullet holes.
