This was one of the best series on TV bar none . I have seen each episode from beginning to end several times. I lived in that era and the clothes that they wear in that shoe are timeless and beautiful.

What a legendary show. Don mentored Peggy into becoming what she eventually became. A great creative director. Don gave the best advice when she gets knocked up. This conversation is turning point in Peggy's life at Sterling Cooper Draper.

I adored Roger Sterling, even when he was being a classic, 50s-style chauvinist.

The stench of cigarettes must of been overwhelming .

Everyone’s smoked back then, no one cared, non-smokers were truly in the minority

I read somewhere that they only used Herbal Cigarettes in set.

@@simonbrushes same in the seventies when I was growing up. Mom chain smoked as did many of my relatives. Then came along the eighties and all that started to change.

Wow, if I’d known the show was about drinking, I would have watched it more.

It was that scene that made me TRULY hate Duck's character....

Duck must have driven his family crazy if the dog looked at him like that. Poor Duck, after killing all of those Japanese soldiers in Guadalcanal only to be in this state 15 years later.

@@mphrdldnI was wondering why he goes to the extreme by putting him out of the building instead of just moving him out of the office. That explains it and makes sense. Especially the way he told his wife he doesn’t do that anymore when she says “I know how you are in the afternoon.”

I can’t even watch that scene. Even knowing it’s a TV show, I fcukin HATE Duck for doing that. If I found out a coworker did that I would go out of my way to do anything I could to submarine him/her. And not once..any & every opportunity possible

Don is literally the worst character in the show. Narcissism personified.

morally bad, but well written

Even if he wasn't a little boy pretending to be a narcissist, there are many worse people in Mad Men than narcissists.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 someone should be watching cartoons instead of making this kind of childish comments 😂😂😂😂

Don was a functioning alcoholic, psychopath and he was unfixable. The product of a miserable childhood. If he weren’t Handsome he’d be a social outcast and convicted felon
