I got ti say though despite many people being really lost on the rest of the series this anime actually manages to make it easy to get invested in the story. Stecasse was pretty much a one off villain in the og series and it's surprising that even you enjoyed his short lived appearance.

Fun side note: - Stecasse King only had 1 match in the original show, but thanks to him we found out something wild: Buffaloman is in fact bald. He is wearing a wig, which we found out thanks to Stecasse hell symphony causing such strong soundwaves that it blew Buffalomans wig almost away when he sat at the side of the ring. There is also a reason for it: Buffaloman made a legit deal with the devil 8as in the BIBLICAL DEVIL) to gain is absurd strength, and one of the drawbacks of this was that all of his hair fell out. - Mr.Kamen technically has a W over Broken Jr. in the original series, but he immediately lost against the then new and mysterious choujin Mongolman. Aftwards he was not seen anymore until this series started. also, yes, basically, he is retired after his loss seen here. - Blackhole has a cousin, the time manipulating choujin Pentagon, who basically had Dios schtick from JoJo, but almost a decade earlier. They are also a tag team together.
