Former Chicagoan here. These are great videos about the characters in the Chicago Outfit. Some years ago, a former FBI agent named William Roemer wrote several excellent books on the subject and his dealings with The Mob.

This man was beyond crazy! Scott, if you were from an Italian family and grew up in Chicago during the 50s, chances are you has a mafia member in your tribe. It's just the way it was. The Italian immigrants came here for a better life and bred a bunch of monsters. It always seemed to ne that way. Sadly, I might add. I wouldn't even go to the stories I heard growing up, but all of these names sound really familiar. Either way, it seems the mob has finally burned itself out, thank God. Ya know, these people were so bad you don't even know if you should feel sorry for them when they meet their fate. Thanks for another great story and to Steve, who always adds his wonderful personal touch to make it even better. Well, RIP to somebody but I'm not even sure who ❤ 💐

Hello sweetie, There are just some Mafia members a bit more crazy than the others. Mad Sam is definitely one that stands out! The Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, has a lot of the Gambino members there and those not so fortunate shall we say. Even though it's a Protestant Cemetery, there are a lot of Italian Americans buried there. Martin Scorsese parents are there also. Big Paul Castellano is buried there. And his house (known as the White House) is up for sale again in Staten Island. I can't say that I would want to own a former mobsters home. Peace...
