There are NO hassles in going back for a visit as long as you follow the rules. The main thing is complete the etravel requirements. I know since i visit at least twice a year since 2021.

Sa attitudes na lang ng mga BOI officers at mga Customs diyan ay madidismaya ka na. Sa airport pa lang hinde ka pa nakakalabas ay nakaka discourage na. (Tapos years ago meron pa silang advertisement na “Bring home a friend to the Philippines”. Pwe, why should I, snake ahas ang dadalin ko dyan hoy. And then currently meron din itong song advertisement na….”Piliin mo ang Pilipinas”. Pwe, ayoko, di nyo deserve mapili. Ayusin nyo muna mga maling sistema dyan hoy.

Madam, hinde na kailangan pang itanong iyan, because the answer is absolutely YES. Mahirap umuwe sa Pilipinas. Hinde ko na need i enumerate dito ang mga reasons dahil hahaba lang at baka maging nobela itong comment ko dito. Lahat na lang ng ka ek ekan at pahirap ay andiyan na sa Pilipinas. And yet ang dami pa ring ngangta ang gustong mag retiro diyan. Kung ikaw ay in perfect health and you are 100% sure na hinde mo kakailanganing magpatingen sa doktor o maospital or worst case scenario ma ICU, snd also if you are 100% sure na ang monthly pension mo ay makaka suporta sa iyo (at sa mga buong barangay mong mga kamag anak at kaibigan), only then ok mag retiro diyan. Pero kung hinde ka sure sa mga iyan, then it is not ok to stay there. (Malapit na ngang sakupin, gerahin ng China ang Pilipinas, tapos gugustuhin mo pa bang mag stay there? BS. What the heck)

I’m a frequent traveller sa pinas at least 2x a year, just left Phil last April dual citizen no problems at all, I follow all the rules Walang problema.

Ang tanong po, dual po ako..tapos ang Phil.pass po ang ni register ko hindi yong foreign pass okay lang po yon? At kong mag etravel reg na po ako alin po ang ilagay ko register yong Phil.pass pa rin or yong foreign lang? Pede po ba yong foreign Pass i reg.ko sa etravel? Foreign passport holder po ako ng 35 yrs. at nagbabakasyon po every year so I have Balikbayan stamps sa passport ko. Wala na po yong Phil.passport ko at nawala din birth certificate ko. Pwede ba yong Balikbayan stamp na ipakita as proof na former Filipino ako?

Hindi nyo po nabanggit na kabilang sa Balikbayan program if you are a former Filipino according to PH embassy in Washington D.C., and you have your birth certificate or old PH passport pwede ka maging visa free hanggang 1 year, pati ung asawa at anak mo basta may dala kang proof like birth certificate ng anak mo and marriage certificate ninyo ng asawa mo.
