Yes. And when she said, especially as a woman, I nodded even more. Half of women are smarter than half of men. That means basically 50% of men are not as intelligent as the average woman. I am one of those people in the upper half. But if you ever challenge a man and he infers that you're more intelligent than he is, he will attack you with all his might, often using every sexist tool at his disposal. Most men have been socialized to believe that to admit a woman is more intelligent than he is means complete emasculation, and therefore complete shame and degradation.

21:40. That's where the host tells the woman who called in and said she was raped , 11 years old, by her father, despite asking her priest for guidance, "If you're having trouble in a situation, one must first get off the dime and do something." Those are the lengths apologists will go to to defend religion and religious authority.

Madalyn Murray O'Hair > Quotes > Quotable Quote “An atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An atheist believes that deed must be done instead of prayer said. An atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated.”

however this it totally wrong. Atheism has nothing to do with any belief but the one and that is about disbelief not belief . It is That the claim of a god exists and no evidence to show of it. Ms. O'Hair is brilliant and no one would dispute this fact. But, despite her intelligence, she made a fatal mistake that lead to her horrible death. Madalyn hired an office manager for her Atheist center and knew that he was a convicted criminal who had previously killed a person. Had she used only common sense, she would have not connected herself with this person. He first began to steal funds from the Atheist office. When she became aware of this, she accused him of the theft and threatened him with prosecution. Before she could carry out her threat he along with two others kidnapped and her daughter and not only killed them but dismembered the bodies.

Does anyone speaking like this really think this woman is so horrible that sue DESERVED murder?? That being said... She was so ahead of her time. She fought for something and made a difference in this world. I was in a religious cult for 28 years... I struggled greatly when I left. I have been met with nothing but positivity from atheists. You are so arrogant you don’t care that kids who aren’t Christian are forced to subject themselves to the insane ramblings of prayers. Christians are obsessed with being victims. They believe their cult is being attacked even though they are the ones who have oppressed and killed others since that immoral cult began. Do you even read that damned immoral Bible? Do you know how it was compiled? Do you know when it was compiled? Do you know any of the writers of the Bible? Can you cite one original manuscript? What is important to understand is that religion is man made. Cobbled together. Made up.

Excerpted from a review of David Horowitz's new book Dark Agenda: "Among the sidebars accompanying Horowitz’s central narrative are insights into the abusive and mendacious character of atheist Madelyn Murray. For example, in 1960 Murray “set out with her two sons . . . intending to renounce her American citizenship and defect to the Soviet Union.” Her repeated attempts at emigration were rebuffed by the Soviets who were probably aware of her emotional instability and violent outbursts." Even the Soviet Union had the good sense to know she was crazy as a hoot owl.

This is an example of character assassination to divert away from the subject. I do not claim she was squeaky clean, but that has nothing to do with her points on Christianity or any other religion. Address those if you wish to be taken seriously.

I have a tacit understanding with people of faith that I know - I am more than willing to accept their right to believe in whatever they choose (virgin births, rising from the dead, lakes of fire and everlasting life in heaven) but I draw the line in participating in the delusion.
