It's has been a while Betha. This movie so reminds me of boarding days (ha no sleep), it was not only in Lagos o. Omo watching it was like 🥶🥶🥶. Lashe was in Linda ikeji's KZbin movie(I have forgotten the name) he did well there too. Well done Netflix. Love u babes❤

I was told a different story . Madam koi koi had a daughter and was a teacher at a school. Students were horrible to her, like you described. Burnt her house down. She died trying to save her daughter. Only thing found was one red shoe. So she comes back periodically, to look for her red shoe and avenge her daughter’s death. I was a boarding student back then 🙈

Bertha love, u did great in d movie review. U r not d only one tripping for this movie because it's quite refreshing n an entirely different topic in d naija movie industry. All d cast delivered wonderfully n they were well selected. I heard about d stories of madam koi-koi's shoe sounds tormenting boarding students when I was in secondary school but I never heard d event that led to her birth. As for Amanda getting a glimpse of d deaths from madam koi-koi, i know it for a fact that there are pple who hear n have higher connections to other worldly beings. They can hear their voices n grievances or feel their pains or be able to assuage them hence Amanda's visions of pple killed by madam koi-koi.

Madam Koi koi is the Nigerian version of Madam High heel in Ghana, and its almost the same story you narrated. I felt like slapping Lashey and Mother Superior.😂😂😂 Also, Lashey played a lead role in 4th October. Chioma Akpotha is phenomenal actress because her silence was LOUD!!
