So basically Madame Alexander bought out Lee Middleton? I'd recognize that face mold anywhere ;) They used to weigh around 5lbs...there were doll shops where they would just sit on the shelves begging to be picked up and cuddled(and made no noise ;) ) Beautiful doll though

+JessyBee1313 Yes, I have a collection of these dolls. I don't like that they are using the 3/4 limbs. They are also back to being very hard vinyl. The Lee Middleton Company was starting to use a softer vinyl for a more realistic feeling to the doll. What a shame. Dolls use to sit up with no problem maybe they are over stuffed now. I'm glad I still have my collection.

JessyBee1313 I know a store like that. It’s a flea market and it’s 20 miles out or more from my town of South Sioux City of The state of Nebraska and it’s near the winnebago Indian rezervation. Theirs a woman who sells them their and their all brand new. The last time I went their she was getting a little forgetful. I bought quite a few of them from her over the years and I sold one of them that had red hair and blue eyes.
