The issue with the head sculpt are the eyes. She looks like she's in a trance. They should be narrower so to show her looking sinister.

Yeah but I can pull up a bunch of comic panels for you where she has these crazy eyes lol. So I think they were going for one of those crazy looks but didn’t translate well. I agree with you though, more neutral, almost seductive looking eyes would’ve worked best.

I'm just going to say it, Madame Hydra's design is so damn beautiful while being badass and tough to beat, She may not be the Madame Hydra figure we all wanted, But to me, In my honest opinion, She is 75% close to being awesome, Still, Fantastic review Manny.

just cause a new mold exists now doesn’t mean when Viper was designed and additional parts tooled up internally that “Shriek” mold existed. Products get designed and “pre fabricated” before they are placed in a wave sometimes. Viper is a case of an “older design” finding a home in a wave.

Great review, Manny. I always enjoy storytime. Idk. Madame Hydra has that look of shock head sculpt. I have her on my Avengers villains shelf. Imo she is a below average figure. Yet I bought her to complete Controller.

This figure is right in the middle. Not terrible but not great. The head is probably the best part, but I don't think it is comic accurate. The AOA Rouge legs would have gone a long way with this figure

Hydra...er I mean Hasbro keep producing characters I want but on outdated bucks that I don't want. The new multi pack of Spidey villains is a prime example. They also skimp on the accessories. When they make figures like this that don't sell I guess they assume the character is unpopular, when a lot of us want them, but not on crappy old bods.

Have you considered getting a second Walgreens Baron Zemo to add to that shelf and moving the Mandroid Zemo to the Thunderbolts shelf? Or are you sticking with just one for the Masters of Evil?

Thanks for the thorough review X-Manny. This is another example of Hasbro’s laziness and lack of effort. This Madame Hydra should have had a newly sculpted, pinless body with double hinged elbows and a much better head sculpt. Also, the lacking of accessories, makes it not worth the price point.

Thanks for the review Xmanny. I totally agree with the points you made and I would also like to add one more - her scar. This time of lazy ass effort really stings now that the prices are unforgiving. This one along with Quake and King Thor were the products from this wave I am most looking forward to. And as you out it; "they had ten years to upgrade it". If Hasbro knew that this product was going to be the inevitable peg-warmer why not put the extra effort into releasing those accessories you mentioned, or reduce the price?

Someone in one of another reviewers comments said if they were made in the same factory Maria Hill Quake/ Madam Hydra that they could only use one body mold per figure. I’m not sure how true that is though but it sounds kind of like a legit reason.
