To everyone speaking ill, you clearly leave perfect lives here at home i guess. This lady suffered exactly what what many ladies go through here in our home grounds and just because she was in Europe you feel entitled to speak ill. For your information Europeans ladies endures exactly what the poor lady went throw. It is a norm just as it is in SA but they do not tell. As long as you have never been in her shoes, think twice before you pass judgement.

I am a South African living overseas. I have noticed a growing number of South African ladies coming here on love missions. Non South Africans see us differently and treat us differently. Because we tend to be calmer, we are expected to maintain that demeanor even within abuse. Also noone wants to hear you've been in an abusive situation incase you qualify for assistance and are able to live like a human being. The only advice I can give you is investigate the countries legal system before you get there.

@@LangelihleNgemaincorrect information you're dishing out. She needs to go to VFS to find out what it is that is required for her to be able to travel and live between the two countries. If she has money, she can appeal the suspension/ban because even waiting for the 6 years to pass won't suffice. It's just that she did not give much information on her experience so I can't advice any further. And Botswana doesn't permit dual citizenship.

I want to feel sorry for her but she ignored all the warming and red flags. All her problems are self inflicted. She kept putting herself even in messier situations, I'm embarrassed, she sounds like someone who wanted to do everything to live abroad, very unSouth African. Hopefully she has learned from this experience. I'm glad she got her son back, only person i feel sorry for the son who had to endure his mother selfish decisions and put him in harms way

@@unmaskwithbasi8897 her statement doesn’t necessarily take away anything from your “personal experience” but rather educates you that not everyone in a psych ward is crazy. & to be frank, even if they were crazy, as you said, it’s mental illness. Instead of trying to defend yourself, just as you want to share your story & people to listen, maybe try listening & learning from others.
