The Santi Francesi (French Saints in English) are a group, actually a duo and they won last year X factor. The singer is Alessandro De Santis and the piano player is Lorenzo Francese, so the group name comes from their last names. Skin group are the Sunk Anansie, she has an amazing voice, and they where really good together.

Barbara ti sbagli,ha vinto Sarafine e non i Santi Francesi. Era già stabilito prima di Xfactor che a Sanremo andassero i Santi,se non sbaglio avevano partecipato a Sanremo giovani e avevano già un contratto con la Sony durante XFactor.

Straordinari e purtroppo i riflettori non erano puntati su di loro. Un euro contest con loro gli avrebbe dato il giusto merito. Come i maneskin anche loro avrebbero avuto un opportunità grande. E questa esibizione rende giustizia alla loro attitudine di essere universali perché anche loro con la loro musica possono raggiungere chiunque.

Great choice Angelo, great job! That night Mahmood sang an amazing cover song of Lucio Dalla with the ethnic coir "Tenori di Bitti". His performance was mystical.

This arrangement of Halleluja was made by the Santi Francesi. They proposed it to Skin who agreed to come to Sanremo to sing it with them despite not knowing them as artists. They were fantastic !

I Santi Francesi were my fav, this year. Unfortunately no one cared about them. Since day one, among 30 artists people and tv only talked about Angelina, Annalisa and Geolier (better I don't talk about the last one 🤦‍♀️). I'm happy Angelina won, at least she can sings and has great attitude on the stage

Out of all the songs participating that evening , this and Angelina Mango' s cover were unforgettable .They were a cut above the rest. Both amazing renditions , sung by gifted singers.
