I have some technical insight on this vs Madhan bro's public eye view on this. Firstly Neyveli and Lignite (the coal we have here in Tamilnadu) is very low quality coal that needs special power plants to convert them into electricity. The imported coal is used for high efficiency powerplants called USCP. Coal buying specifications are boiler dependent and there is a quality range. This is usually tested. The poweplant has a system to specifically sample the coal mixture real time before combustion. So its highly unlikely that so much of "low quality" coal would go unnoticed by the power plant operator.

Also Tangedco is fully corrupted, they did a recruitment 4 years before for AE and gave refund 1 year back. They may put these money in any bank they can get lumpsum money.

Madan I think you need to do more ground work on this , I worked in coal fired poweplant designs for around 7 years , The boilers is designed to burn a coal for the particular quality (ultimate analysis) , more coordination in coal qty air qty and other parable temp are coordinated for the flame to continues inside the boiler , if there is an change in grade of coal the boiler will be failed ,It happens in 2016 in Mettur TPP due to failed analysis of coal post to that ,Mettur thermal plant where undergone so many tweaks and never runs at 100%plant loading which runs now at 60 to 70% loading . May be you need to dig more Madan to speak into this topic.

One of the least consumer rights we have compared with other countries which these corporates are taken advantage of AC service : 20 days for service during warranty Health insurance - N number of claim refusal with lame reason iPhone - expensive service cost I live in uae, atleast here we have consumer court which is easy to reach and the settlement towards the issue is quick All the above issue I raised doesn’t even have a proper escalation metrics to compliant even if customer want to reach consumer court imagine how many years we need to fight for
