Madan, How will you diffrentiate between a celeb and a common man.., If a common man can afford a dior , hermes and prada, they are no longer a luxury brand meant for the RICH., So the pricing is based on the vintage of brand, their fashion sense, Brand goodwill, and so on that gets into pricing. A normal shirt that is made in india is priced 3X of the MFG / MKTG and all other cost., so if you buy a shirt for Rs 1000, The cost of making it is Rs 333. A luxury brand marks up 100-150 X so that you and me dont buy.. 🙂

I work in software engineering in uk. See you can’t put a cost to some of the hard work behind some of the amazing work engineers do, engineers are underpaid all over the world. You will only understand if you do engineering work that they work harder than even CEO’s the amount of problems they solve, are priceless. If you ask most software engineers here they’ll say even iPhones are way cheaper than it should be. If iPhones or any Android were to cost its true value, I.e. if all staff were paid proper wage, that means even raw materials price will increase, making a typical android and iPhone cost over $10,000 that’s over 10 lakhs. But only because so many people’s work are underpaid, you can get Android and iPhone for only $1000. Only reason people are mad about these prices is because you don’t want them to make 500$ more than raw materials. But that’s not big deal. The more you pressurise companies to sell products cheaper , the more the companies will overwork employees and underpay.

Iam in uk bro. I have branded watches like Gucci, vivienne westwood. I loved it before. Recently feeling designs are more in unbranded. Once people start using brands, they slowly avoid it at one point of time. Uk la unbranded kooda romba classy a irrukum. I don't why our Indian unbranded are not giving that look and quality. If such unbranded comes there, brands shops close pannitu poiduvnga bro. But dresses la branded worth. They have that fit and look.. unbranded la fit proper a koduka mattanga.

I go to the leather shops myself and buy fake leather, after too much of introspections, because of all the cruality behind expensive leather items.
