Also the fact Kabuto is just weak and has no idea what he is doing. Controlling to many people at once, basically has Madara loose and Itachi fully out of his control. Meanwhile Orochimaru is able to summon four hokage and control all but one of them basically. Just shows that the Jutsu has it's limits as much as the caster has. If you summon one person you could probably easily control them even if they are someone like Itachi. Itachi is just under genjutsu at this point, he isn't technically free but it would take a genjutsu equal in power which no one has unless they give up an eye for it.

Sasuke is also mad at the people because at the time not only the elders but the people ostracized and feared the Uchiha, it was the entire village's fault that resulted in Itachi's suffering and decision in Sasuke's eyes, which makes sense based on what Sasuke knows. I also believe that Sasuke's plan wasn't to kill a lot of innocent villages, but destroy the actual hidden leaf village itself, the image and values it represents.

Most of the very powerful bad guys in the show come from konoha, or the non-konoha bad guys have a villain origin story that starts with konoha messing something up. The non-konoha bad guys are usually second rate so they barely even qualify as important characters to the plot. Konoha has some serious issues with its management and leadership if they consistantly maintain their high villain output. The only major antagonists with no connection to konoha is black zetsu and his mother, and thats because they predate the village. Most of the worlds problems can be boiled down to Tobirama being a paranoid ass, Hiruzen being incompetent/negligent/, Orochimaru/Kabuto being off their meds, Hashirama being dead, or Madara being not dead. Even Itachi, Minato, and Tobi can have their screwups swept under the table as the result of another hokages problems. Konoha has terrible people in it too, what with some of the shit the clans get up to, nor the common people that are terrible to Naruto.

I wouldn't compare the 5 Kage as unfavoured to Naruto/Bee as you did. Sure, the Jinjuuriki have A LOT more Chacra and simple destructive power, but when it comes to Jutsu variety, experience and simple battle skill they shouldn't be underestimated. I reckon Naruto and Bee are certainly "stronger" than any individual Kage, but they don't measure up to all 5 of them and they might even loose in a 1v1 depending on the Matchup. I mean we do only see them fight against Madara, and pretty much any Shinobi - Naruto and Bee included - look like mere Children when they are up against him^^

Naruto swiped five tailed beast bombs away like they were nothing. In a 1v1 he bodies any kage, and the Raikage is the only one that would last longer than a second because he could actually keep up with the speed better than the rest and Naruto proved he was faster than him when the two kage went to stop Bee and Naruto from going to battle (that was also before Naruto powered up again).

Madara is just made different. He was born in the warring era where he literally had to fight for his life every single day since he was a child. The daily life and death battles for survival had honed his battle senses and himself to the very pinnacle height of power. The others that are born in a peaceful era with a safe environment to hone their skills simply cannot match his, which was developed and honed from do or die moments in actual battles. From his perspective, all these "safe" environments and "peace" must be a complete and utter joke that made the later generations weak in his eyes.

Cracking madaras susano and breaking it is a good feat theres problems with this like for example it was madaras clone which has less chakra and durability although you can argue wood style clones are better but we know you can control the amount of chakra you give to a shadow clone eitherway it can't be the same as you're original body because you can't just make all the shadow clones have you're same base chakra although you can split the chakra equally the reason why i say this is becauss a susanoo is basically the uchihas way of manifesting a giant like creature through their chakra so depending on the chakra things like a madada susano would be weaker than the original if it was a clone

After Hiruzen died (the only person promised to protect Sasuke), the Akatsuki wanted to send someone to Konoha to get information about 9-tail jinchuriki and get intel, Itachi immediately accepted this mission because A: he wanted to make sure the duo didn’t catch Naruto and B: to show Danzo and the village elders that he was still alive and was still a threat by taking down one of the best jonin in the village at that moment. However, he did not anticipate to meet Sasuke in that hotel and went too far by putting Sasuke into coma, you can blame Kishi for bad writing or not planning ahead here, anyway Itachi is portrayed as a very selfish person here. He felt very guilty about the massacre of course and wanted to be judged by Sasuke and die at Sasuke’s feet, so he traumatized Sasuke once again to push Sasuke into the revenge path and this was done straight out of selfishness, it was for his own sake. He forgot about Sasuke’s happiness, the life that Sasuke could have lived if he didn’t choose the revenge path. Or maybe he found out about his illness and wanted to fasten the timeline of his battle vs Sasuke, anyway, none of the motives justify his actions, the fact is that Sasuke is traumatized and completely changed as a person. Of course, we can argue that the plot wanted Sasuke to focus on the revenge path, that’s what makes Sasuke a great character, right? So Itachi’s actions here was put as a plot device to Sasuke’s path but Itachi’s actions here are not excusable.
