dude you are overhating hashirama's father he was pretty normal for his days and the fact he was alive at that age means he was strong as f. hashirama was great and more thoughtful than anybody there that doesn't mean everybody else are evil .

I actually really like the relationship between Hashirama and Tobirama. Hashirama lets Tobirama lecture, almost bully him a lot, because he knows that Tobirama is more logical, so he takes his words seriously. However, Tobirama also knows when to back down when Hashirama puts his foot down, showing that Hashirama is really the one with the final say at the end of the day.

One thing to keep in mind: Madara didn't have Rinnegan or Wood Style when he fought Hashirama. So at the very least he's gotten a power boost.

Tobirama may have sown the seeds of the downfall of the Uchiha but let's not forget that the major reaason people alienated and were suspicious of the Uchiha was the incident with the nine tailed fox which was cause by Obito. I honestly put the blame there and not with Tobirama. The coup d'etat would never have happened if the suspicions of the Uchiha releasing and controling it never came to fruition.

The reason Hashirama, Madara, Tobirama and Hiruzen hold so much raw power (Similarly with Naruto and Sasuke as they are now) is due to how they grew up; in an era of constant war-explained in the next few episodes-where it was literally you fight and live, or you fight and you die. They literally had to force themselves to grow stronger in order to protect themselves.

Tobirama's explanation about the Sharingan is the correct one if I'm not mistaken cause it's the one that goes the most in-depth about the power of the Uchiha clan and it's never challenged after that cause it's toward the end of the manga so he's telling things how they are objectively. Other Uchihas thought they all needed to suffer to awake the mangekyo but it actually has never been the only way. It's beautiful and sad at the same time. It explains why Sasuke, Obito, Madara and the whole Uchiha clan seem to be so hateful.

Interestingly, the third one said that he forced Itachi to do that, but he took the blame on himself. He wasn't the one who passed the mission on to Itachi, we saw that in Itachi's own memories.
