If you watch Aizen's battle with Ichigo, towards the end you realize he was having a very existential dilemma with his own power and wanted a challenge, hence him basically grooming Ichigo to be his rival from literally before conception. Madera was a weirdo and in my interpretation of him all he really wanted. Was to win. It explains a lot of his actions that don't make sense to a T. For example his utter obsession with Hashirama and even his way of going about his convoluted plan. They both were obsessed with strength and greatness and masked it under a facade of making the world a better place, but obviously neither of them really cared about that at all. Although maybe that's just my interpretation of it)

@@deshaungoriola that is the most illiterate elaboration of Madara I've ever seen, you need to go back and actually 🌟READ🌟 the Manga and watch the Japanese sub, Madara was not obsessed with strength, he already achieved that in his younger years, he wanted complete control over the world and played chess to achieve it, he liked hashirama because hashirama was the only person in the entire SHINOBI WORLD who could give him a challenge or kill him, everyone's else were too weak. It's also ironic, because both him and hashirama created the leaf village and other villages saw how successful it was and copied them, they were childhood best friends as well before the chaos started, azien is so boring 😫 with no genuine story compared to Madara, azien is just a character needed to be the final boss in bleach that they made insanely strong without even going fully into detail. Azien went from looking like a nerd to having the appearance of a LGBTQ mascot 😭🙏😭 Madara has an old warlord appearance.

Which is enough for Madara because his Sharingan can detect even tiny inconsistencies in what is seemingly perfect illusions. Plus, Madara's world is much more familiar with illusion powers while also having them be strong enough that they are difficult to resist. Aizen's world's lack of such illusions is what makes the characters so vulnerable to that kind of power, including Aizen himself.

Aizen was shown to be vulnerable to it when Shinji (the only other Bleach character that has an illusion based zanpakuto) was able to affect him with his Sakanade. Even beings far stronger than Aizen like Ywach are still not immune to it and he's by far the most powerful character that Bleach has to offer. This is likely due to how rare of an ability Illusion/Mind-based attacks are in Bleach that nobody has really gained any resistance to it. The only 2 characters who have it which are Shinji and Aizen almost never use it, are very secretive about it or just straight up lie about their abilities.

They spelled it out: Madara has a weapon that was perfect for permanently putting Aizen down, and Aizen has nothing comparable. I know the Shinigami have a way to shove souls out of the body, like Rukia did to Ichigo a few times in the anime, but Ichigo was at a much, much lower power level at that point, and was letting Rukia do it. Aizen's power level wasn't high enough to force that on Madara, and he had no way to effectively kill or immobilize the guy due to Madara's power set. Madara's soul was safe, even before the Xanatos-plan revivification move. At that point, it all comes down to how long it takes Madara to get in enough hits to demolish Aizen.

to those people who doesn't understand, there is no other way to compare anime to anime abilities than to look at it's description. description to description base you can understand how strong an ability was and how you will compare another to another, so you cant say "it's just a ninjustu" if they're just has the same skill description as on bleach, immortality is on both side Aizen and Madara it's just madara has a counter fit to that skill that he can break even the soul of the target, and You CAn compare Perfect Hypnosis to the Perfect Genjutsu naruto has to offer, even so It's on the Sharingan or Rennigan's description that they can Break through it even how Strong Genjutsu is. It's not the argument of just "immortality" it's HOW you have immortality. Aizen's immortality, should not be compared to edo tensei. And the thing about "breaking through genjutsu" is the issue of doing verse comparisons.. You're comparing genjutsu, the same genjutsu that can be broken through chakra, to KS. Genjutsu attacks energy to further manipulate the senses.. That's why genjutsu can be countered. does not mean they can counter every verses illusions whatsoever.
