In franchise mode I hope A.I teams trade 1st round picks and move up or down the draft board. It would also be cool to have a "rumor" board that shows if certain teams are looking to move up or down, or if lots of teams have their eyes on a certain player.

The most frustrating thing about 22 was the scouting. You pay scouts for an entire year and they can’t tell you if an edge rusher is finesse or power.. such a joke. Not to mention the abysmal menus. Hope the ui is improved 4k%

I think it's that the graphics take us so much memory it's probably impossible to do it without sacrificing much better things that need to be in the game. I really wouldn't mind if they dumbed the graphics down to an extent just to be able to do more things like that.

They should make the drafting process a little more in depth for franchise mode. Allow you to actually interact with the recruits you intend to draft, an actual look into the combine from a coaches perspective instead of just simulated combine results. Also an actual phone call to the players would be cool. A little more immersive.

Honestly, if they could also bring back commentary during the draft process about some of the top guys during that draft year that would be amazing. Adam Schefter, Rich Eisen, someone who just can say vague things about the players (this player is the best sound run defender in the draft or this WR has the best hands in college football and dominated his conference, etc).

This is where the coach types actually would of come in handy, if you’re not a good team that a lot players want to sign at them you’d want a great development coach that gets advantages come draft time. If you’re like the rams then you’d be just fine with a coach who has his free agent pull heavy

If they for whatever reason don't want us to have total freedom when it comes to creating a team, they should at the very least do it like NBA 2k does it and have a selection of cities to create/relocate teams, but then you choose the name and customize the logo, jerseys, stadium etc. Maybe even add a feature in franchise mode to have expansion teams.

I been playing NHL 22 and they have a expansion draft and you can creat a team but most the logos are from Madden relocation teams 😂 so Madden definitely can add this or something similar

I think it would be cool to have more options for where to start as a coach. Maybe you can start with a team in the last couple of games or directly at the end of the season because the coach got fired. That way you can do more front office stuff before the new season starts.

I really like this. Especially the tags and free agency. Hopefully gameplay is better. I want more realistic pocket formation and QB pocket movements as well as updated positional terminology so we don't see Darious Leonard playing edge or Nick Bosa playing 3-4 defensive end. But this looks like a step in the right direction. Good video as always

Just so you know. You can change all of that from the menu in franchise mode... you can put certain players in certain formations and they'll always be in when you call those formations... you can also put subs in from your play selection screen during the gameplay

After playing the beta for so long now I can safely say it is better than the past few maddens. There are very minor things that need to be fixed that I’m sure will get fixed prior to general release as they have already updated the beta to fix issues so far. This year seems to be the year we have been waiting for when it comes to a polished experience

Thanks for the review. What I didn't hear is the momentum meter. Is that toned down or can it be modified or removed by commissioners? Did they finally add the wind speed and direction to the screen BEFORE you decide on kicking or punting? With contracts can you front load them or back load them?

One thing I want in any franchise in sports games is team traits. Basically teams will get traits and bonuses based on what they have done well in the past. So the Steelers per say, have drafted really well historically so they would get a scouting boost or more xp for rookies and so on, so forth

As a franchise player this sounds awesome and I really hope it pans out. Really wish they focused more on the presentation as well. It's time to have a new broadcast group or have multiple broadcast group like 2K. Also am I the only one who miss having the team jerseys on the player's pictures? Last time that happened was back in Madden 07 I believe. Been way too long, tired of those plain white "jerseys".

All the Madden Franchise had the motivation thing until like 07. They bring it back. I like how they bring these things back. Franchise mode should get updates. I hope the scouting and draft logic is really change. Three teams in my franchise draft a Quarterback in three straight drafts. I seen the Chiefs and Bengals draft a Quarterback with Joe and Patrick there.

I could compare us and basically take a shot at that particular team vs what I have to offer in that same area.

I watched a few reviews on the Franchise mode from Beta. I want your opinion on my thoughts: 1. Someone suggest a commissioner option with total control like NBA 2k where you can control CBA, rules, etc. 2.There should be a deeper way to manage your scouts. Send them to games, practices, interview their coach, watch tape, etc. 3.In our league we limit playbook use during the season to the playbooks of your HC, OC, & DC. If you could build that into the game or let see the playbooks. Maybe add some wrinkles to your playbook based on that. 4.I think you should be able to move scouts around in season. They don't tell you early enough what area is strong in what. You've already placed your scouts in an area and if they aren't string there you're screwed that season. 5. You should be able to review prospect attributes without backing out. It would be like a depth chart screen and still have the attributes hidden 6. If there is no Tom Brady tag where a QB or any player takes less to build a team then EA's "if it's in the game, it's in the game" slogan it's still false advertising. 7. I should be able to create a contract in the resign area as well as the FA area. FA in season should function like FA in the off-season. They shouldn't just sign let it go for a week or two if their interest isn't there.

Will the career clock tie into these tags or injuries? Example: if player suffers a major injury or is constantly injured, where you should draft the player replacement or the front office doesn’t feel comfortable with the player?

I’d love to see a tag talking about the injuries, probably something like “Injury Prone” and it’s like saying that this player has had a lot of injuries in their career, basically something that would make him a lower valued player for terms of contracts/trades.

What about scales for how much u run vs pass or how aggressive your defense can be and to take it a step further were how much the game plan is focus like if I want your QB to be heavily involved in the run u can adjust at a percent or work wr 2 or 3 or something of that..... not to mention what schemes you want to run by the half there is so much Madden can do with it that they dropped or don't use.... hell do better with tendency aspect of the players

If the player doesn't want to mentor then they wouldn't have that as one of their tags. But funny enough Tannehill did have it. I assume they'll fix that before the game drops. I believe a lot of these tags will be done at random though cause we don't know every player's real life motivations, only the few that they make public.
