EAs reasoning for giving PC gamers the old gen version of the game was that they wanted to keep the best version exclusive to the newest consoles. The transition to next Gen, is no longer influenced by hardware technological advancements and innovations, and more focused on making profits for specific consoles. I have no idea how features like intros are limited to the 'new gen'. Leave alone the fact that Current Gen share features with the PC version.

The base $60 game comes with both PS4 and PS5 versions so if you buy madden 23 for your PS4 you can have madden for PS5 once you get your hands on one

I appreciate this, as EA doesn't list anywhere (easy to find) what is being left out of the PC version. Last year got a real sour taste in my mouth hearing about a new features and just not having access to them in my version. With a few people talking about it might come in a patch later down the road. Well on the bright side no reason to get a new Madden game now. (Or maybe ever).

I must say, the next gen Madden looks better than it has in years by adding things like tackle battles, running momentum, tackling physics, the ability to put the throw where you want it, you know all the things that made Madden 2005 great! Seriously, adding back features and calling them new is so embarrassing, but at least it seems to look and play more like actual football.

I’m very big on customization and attention to detail, and I’ve noticed for next gen when wearing a relaxed jersey you can’t wear a towel with it. Also when creating a build & maximizing their muscle size you can’t really see an increase other than their arms. Hopefully customization gets tuned as well.

i mean as someone whos been playin madden for years i know they could do better but the realism is a big improvement , but i feel like being able to choose or get a select set of celebrations would be fun, and maybe a full combine , more college teams for FOF, also maybe training like they had in the old madden with weightlifting , 40 yard dash, tackling dummy style drills, and even maybe 7 on 7 scrimmages in the off-season or exclusive or FOF they can do a lot man i know it’s not easy but they can do it , i just hope the reason they aren’t doing anything major is to wait until ncca

I wish the awareness of players made a difference. For example: a QB with 70 overall would only be allowed to see 3 out of 5 players icons. A wr with a 70 overall you wouldn't be able to see their route and maybe they won't know the hot route you tell them to run. Things like that would make it a little more fun.

If you have current gen just keep playing Madden 22 as it's almost the same visuals as Madden 23 on nex gen minus the useless field sense and passing. What I am trying to say is the player models on current gen in M23 took a giant step backwards from madden 22 as players look bulky with giant shoulder pads it's terrible. I played M23 on current gen then went back to M22 and the player models on field are so much better and I would say its closer to M23 on next gen. Lamar looks like a linebacker on current gen in M23 its terrible.

I literally went back to Madden 21 for Franchise Mode. I hate how they overhauled the Scouting process in 22. I usually just sim the first couple of seasons anyway so I can accumulate Draft Picks and rebuilt, so having the most current players aren't an issue for me.

@@Evan30835 1. It had bare minimum changes from Madden 22 and changes for the worse not the better 2. All players per position had the same body types and were very blocky ( All linemen had same body shape, all linebackers had same body shape, and etc.) 3. The O-Line & D-Line looked obese 4. There was barely any new animations 5. I didn’t see any group/multiple people tackles and no tackle battles either 6. The passing was the same as well..no precision targeting 7. Also no Griddy from Chase or Jefferson

I just Switched from Xbox one to next gen and when I played madden 23 the game Is literally beautiful the New Jerseys, pads, player momentum, graphics, I recommend next gen madden it’s a whole different level

i get how they lack the game play for Xbox one and ps4 but you would expect for them to have PC next gen Pc's are probably the most capable to play next gen (if you got the right pc which i do)
