Bradberry was quite literally the best coverage corner in the league last year, especially facing increased targets with QBs not wanting to throw towards Slay. Passer rating allowed: 54.7 Catch rate allowed below expectation: -12.5% Tight-window percentage: 29.4% Target rate: 16.1% Average separation: 2.3 yards TARGETED EXPECTED POINTS ADDED: -32.8 The “passer rating allowed” stat was more than 10% lower than the next closest corner in the league. I know he doesn’t have the hype behind him like some CBs, but come on I think an 87 would have at least been reasonable. 17 passes defenses last year. 17 and 18 his last two years on the Giants. The dude is shut down.

I banned Madden from my house years ago. Compared to 2K, it is still inferior. They don’t do significant upgrades to play performance and as long a player is fast, the other statistics are moot. …and they’ve always shortchanged the eagles.

Franchise mode balancing does make young players like Devonta or Jalen Carter better than they seem because they'll get so many free skill points as you play more. (assuming the game doesn't break which it ALWAYS does) But Hurts deserves more respect, 87 is absurdly low.

Typically it’s because they are going to get team of the week and special card upgrades throughout the year. This means that EA Sports can make loads of money when they get better and better cards.

Madden stats aren’t year by year they’re built on consistency. If reddick gets a lot of sacks again he’ll be 94-95 proabably by end of the year. They gotta start off smaller so there’s room for improvement

Sacks aren’t as important as people make them out to be, the most important stat is qb pressure rating, and it’s easy for reddick to get sacks when they can’t double team him bc they have to worry about Brandon graham, fletcher cox, and jordan Davis. Reddick doesn’t have to go against the double teams that micha, bosa, and tj watt have to deal with, highest if give him is a 92
