Madden Benz Unfiltered: Steelers win over Chargers, Justin Fields, Russell Wilson, Steelers defense

In the latest "Unfiltered," Mark Madden and Tim Benz talk about the Week 3 Steelers' win over the L.A. Chargers. While the team is 3-0, there is no clear vision of what the Steelers are.
On quarterback, Madden and Benz both agree that the Steelers are not clear on how to move forward. Do they stay with Justin Fields, or do they move to Russell Wilson, when he's ready?
"The problem is the Steelers never think in the big picture. If you think in the big picture, you give strong consideration to using Russell Wilson because he is more likely to win a playoff game or win big games in the second half to get you in the playoffs. But the Steelers rational, and it's always been Tomlin's, is that, 'OK. Fields won last week. He should be able to give us a chance this week.' It's never about the next week or the week after that," Madden commented.
The guys also talk about the team's defense and next week's matchup against the Colts.
Madden and Benz also talk about the Pirates' Paul Skenes in the rookie of the year conversation, and what's going on at Penguins training camp.

Your take on Fields is way off. I watched EVERY Bears game for the last three years. You know what causes hesitation and inconsistent play? It was two head coaches, three different offensive schemes and Getsy who was worst than Canada at offensive play calling. Not to mention no legit WR#1 until Moore last year. He tried to play hero ball because he had no OL and no weapons. Now, you will see the Justin Fields from his OSU days at the NFL level. I'll come back and listen to your show when your ready to eat crow.

Yessir I thought I had some ulcer once also but now I am on a prescription heartburn medicine! Beermalls is also on a low dose Blood pressure medicine! ( walking in the DR office raises mine!) I attended the opener! Very hot day and like you all said before! We our kind of a boring team to watch! As long as Fields gets better week to week I’m good! The Defense can only carry us so far like last year! Like Mark said on the radio show today! Cam Heyward looked great yesterday! Is he gonna be healthy in November, December!
