Man, the punt block defense brings back memories. Back in Madden 04 I actually did a season where I only used Punt Defense for my defensive scheme. I would use the returner as a blitzer. That WR ended the season with 36 sacks.

Choice Specs/Band/Scarf: one play only on offense/defense but you choose which play you'll run for the rest of the drive at the start (so if you choose, say, Read Option as your 1st play of the drive, you have to run Read Option until you score, decide to punt, or turn the ball over, same on defense)

I used to run Punt Block/Return in one of the old NFL games for the Genesis because it was legitimately the best defense to use. 90% of the time you'd get a sack or force a turnover and you'd only get burned by the CPU on rare occasions.
