EXACTLY. Loved the animated menus back in the day. Now it’s just basic or its advertisements for Ultimate Team and stuff lol what a joke. Wish EA would listen to the fans that made the franchise what it is today.

Got this for 1.95 cents I got madden 99 on-ps1 03,07-on ps2, 08,12 on-ps3,16 on-ps4 (ncaa 08 on ps2) and 2k5 ps2 they all HIT Different.

08 , 10 and 12 were goated, everything since been ass cheeks. Just by the menus , injusry analysis, abilities and small details you can tell the developers during these times still had passion and weren’t just about money , even the graphics don’t look any worse 😂

I literally quit or "boycott" Madden after this exact game. I went on a "retro gaming hunt" and bought a few of the Madden's I didn't F with after quitting. I heard a lot of raving about Madden 12. I was playing it today and thought; "yeah cool halftime show" then realised it came nothing close to what 2K were doing back in 2004!!!!!!!!!!! Damn 2004!!!!! 7 years later on Madden 12, EA still couldn't touch what 2K were doing 7 years prior. Now that's pathetic.

Year 2 of a garbage idea by EA Sports using a generic voice instead of John Madden and (Pat Summeral or Al Michaels). They did it in Madden 07 also. Having a voice sounding as if it's coming form a radio is lame. Madden talking between plays (as in 2007) was a bad idea.

@@adenruckert22 if you played Madden 2005 it plays alot like that but with the kicking mechanic from Madden 07. it also plays in 60FPS at 480i. that port is also on original xbox and PC.

@@jamiesonreynolds3430 To this day I play the ps2 version. The game is by far the best madden ever made. I used to put in like 40 hours a week on that stupid game. So many good times, bad times with it. Got whooped for crying because of a pic 6 lmao. This game was my childhood and the mechanics always feel so familiar.

@M.T. Ray You're kidding me. This was the era of fucking Crysis and Half-Life 2. Hell, Oblivion needed to be downgraded for the XBox 360 to let it run at all. What the fuck do you mean "PCs couldn't run it"? This was 2007. Not 1995. The reason Madden 08 for PC looked horrible was because it was a PS2 port. Not the PS3/360 port.

the pc version has even worse ai then madden 22 and presentation/graphics even worse then ps2. there are mods; and scripts that fit the ai a tad bit, some other areas god the ai is terrible, and main mod that updates some stuff hasn’t been updated in over a year
