@Scud Buster yeah I would 10 u couldn’t do Mini camp in franchise mode and plus the scouting on 07 & 08 was way better than 10. They really broke down draft prospect

I love 9 and 10. The NFL Films music 🎶 really enhanced that true NFL Films feel. No pay to win. Fun modes. Madden himself and great gameplay. Still better than 21 easily. I still play the old games

I don’t know how to explain it but this era of madden was by far the closest to feeling like a real football game/broadcast to me. The commentary sounded a lot more “professional” the music in the intro of games felt like watching a broadcast on a sunday morning. The playlist was more hyped than what we get now. Just felt more like football. Now we get non stop terrible rap. (I know that makes me sound old af but i’m 20 and just think their choice of songs is terrible, there is good football rap out there they just don’t use it lmao.) No classic football music, the broadcast doesn’t feel like a real game at all and the commentary is terrible. Miss the old madden

chris collinsworth helps a lot defiantly. for being madden 09, the graphics are really good tbh. i have madden 22 & i can say i still grind it. my first madden was madden 04 & i haven’t missed one since but i will say it’s gone downhill bad . i just play it bc i love football & it’s fun building a good team to play online. i do miss the old madden tho madden 04 - 12 was a great era

This was the first Madden I bought for “next gen” at the time. Going from PS2 to Xbox 360, I thought it looked incredible. I thought this is the best looking football game ever made. Still one of my favorite Maddens ever.

The grass and weather effects were crazy in this one. They actually brought in the art director of NBA Street for this game and it really shows with the visual touches.

Sweet they do have Madden 09 for the ps3, wish I would've found out sooner lol. I've been playing the ps2 version which looks like utter shite on LED & OLED tv's even with a high end upscaler/converter. I'm definitely going to pick this up so thanks for this 👍👍

@@powerpuffboy901 07 & 08 are pretty good on ps3. As much as 08 is hyped on ps2 and PC, I actually prefer the more realistic animations on ps2. The ps2 version was completely unique that year. Even the Xbox version was just a roster update from 08 and would be the last madden release on Xbox.

I would say 09, but just bc their is so much nostalgia. When I turned 8 , our house flooded to the roof and I lost everything I didn’t put on a high shelf or bring with me when we left the house . It was sad , I was only a child and everything I knew was just gone. But then while my parents rebuilt the house me and one of my brothers went to live with our aunt and uncle with their children for two weeks. They had a ps2 and madden 08,and I loved it so much , it was finally something that got my mind off of the flood and I played it so much . When I went home I asked my grandparents for 08 on my ps3 which survived but instead they got me 09 . I stopped playing madden 09 three years ago. In a way this game saved my life , and I appreciate everything 08 did like get me into football and madden in the first place but 09 definitely is better in my opinion but only on ps3 that way it has great graphics and not garbage graphics like ps2 and especially Xbox original and 360 since Xbox has horrible graphics
