1st game I felt was too easy. 2nd was just stupid hard. I’m thinking 17 instead of 20 difficulty. Maybe lower on running so Peterson is getting more than 20 yards a game lol

you messed up when you changed the difficulty to 20 on all the levels, if all madden is too easy try putting the passing up to around 17 18 and try the other stuff too, otherwise, even with peyton manning you will play like that. I mean, you're not a pro madden player from 2010, they're all stuck in the past now lol

But the first Vikings game I remember watching with my dad (they were playing his favorite team, the 49ers), the quarterback passed it to Kleinsasser, and for a split second, I thought the announcer said "flying saucer." I love how you're so fascinated by all the features that have been dropped over the years. Training camp used to be a series of drill at each position and you could only choose a player once. So you'd have two QB drills and you'd have to use two QBs. And it ran all skill positions too, including K/P and linemen. Those were the days man. Even the presentation here is better and more exciting than the sleek futuristic crap we have now. I really miss Gus Johnson.

Great thing about the older games were some of the ridiculous trades available and that you could draft actually great players in the lower rounds. I'd always sign TO then trade him away for a 1st round pick. For my NCAA 20 road to glory, I used franchise mode because I was originally planning on making custom draft classes, but once I realized how long it would take to make a draft class, I decided not to make one. However, I was already done with my freshman season, so there was no turning back. (Plus I don’t think you can use custom rosters in RTG anyway)
