Hold L2 and square to see the run gaps the defenders are responsible for if the run goes left, hold L2 and circle to see the gaps the defenders have if the run goes right. In cover four it shows the safties being responsible for run gaps, cover two and three have no run responsibility

I thought vert hooks were different from hook curls. I heard vert hooks follow some route vertical

Yeah they used to. I put that out in a cover 3 vid but that doesn't appear to work anymore

@@MaddenMoneyShot so they said vert hooks man match only the inner most receiver or tight end if they go on a streak, but for them to match the inner most receiver or tight end, the inner receiver or tight end must be on a streak and they have to have a receiver to the outside if them. For example if you put the tight end on a streak in a trips set the vert hook will not man match because on the side where thr tight end is at there is no outside receiver, but if there was an outside receiver the vert hook would match man to man with the tight end. Like on the tight end side of the formation if you put the running back on that side then the vert hook would man match the tight end only if the tight end goes verticle on a streak or fade. Other wise like you said if there is no streak from the inner most receiver or tight end, vert hooks play like hook curls
