Hello! These are so beautiful! I’m trying to make some for my mom and mother in law but was wondering how you transport these? Just put in a box and hold it steady and flat?
@MaddieBrehm2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I would recommend using something like buttercream or trimoline to “glue” the cookies to a plate, cake board, etc so they don’t move around while you transport them!

So beautiful...thanks for sharing with us..can we use American butter cream ( butter and confectionery sugar) to make these? Thanks

Thank you! ♥️ I’m sure you can! I just don’t really like the taste or texture, which is why I don’t use it :)

Thank you for watching! I generally use AmeriColor for my buttercream… I honestly don’t know what colors exactly I used. I usually just add random amounts of different things until I’m happy with the color 😅

Beautiful cookies! Do these crust over well? Just wondering if they'd hold up to shipping.
@MaddieBrehm3 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) No, buttercream does not harden. I think it would be nearly impossible to ship something that uses this technique.

Do you think that this technique would work with icing instead of buttercream ...so that it sets in place ?
@MaddieBrehm3 жыл бұрын
Personally I think it would be very challenging, but I have never tried! You would need an extremely thick icing and you would have to work very quickly and carefully!

Can i use swiss meringue buttercream instead?

Any buttercream is fine as long as it is nice and stiff :)

I was gifted it from a friend in Seoul, so I'm not sure exactly where it came from... I am guessing that specialty art stores would carry something similar!

Beautiful. Now the $64000 question: How in the world do you transport those?
@MaddieBrehm3 жыл бұрын
Very carefully 😬😅
@jerihurd3 жыл бұрын
@@MaddieBrehm Yes, but seriously. Do you have individual containers for them? I'm always taking heavily decorated things into work, but can't imagine how I'd do these. btw--thanks for the head's up on the workshops (in a different video). I'm moving to Jeju in July and will definitely look up the place in fall!
@MaddieBrehm3 жыл бұрын
@@jerihurd I only ever do palette knife things for fun/practicing/giving to my family so I’ve never needed to look for containers or packaging, sorry!! I wish I had more info for you!!

I tried to do the butter cream with this recipe, but it did not work for me 😭
@MaddieBrehm4 жыл бұрын
That is incredibly strange. Depending on what kind of butter you use, you may need to add more, but I use this recipe every day, so I assure you it does work! You might want to try another buttercream recipe.

Maddie Brehm maybe the temperature was wrong. I heard that to hot room can be a problem
@MaddieBrehm4 жыл бұрын
@@kat34ka That is possible! A lot of pastry products are very sensitive to things like heat and humidity! I really hope you can find a buttercream recipe that works for you :)

My purpose is to make videos that I enjoy making and to have fun doing it. Please stop leaving disrespectful and rude comments on my videos or they will be deleted.
@sirafeen35364 жыл бұрын
@@MaddieBrehm that wasn't disrespectful at all! Atleast you made it clear, you're doing it for you, not for the purpose of teaching. That's all I wished to know. You can delete whatever you want, it's your channel, but its a public channel, I had the right to inquire... I'm pretty sure I liked a couple of videos too, if my intent was to be rude or hateful, would not have done that!! Anyway, good luck with your channel.
