Something 3kiksphillp does noticed is as he textures maps they change a lot in feel. Perhaps you should try a quick textures run just too see how it makes you feel as opposed to the textures as they are now. There is a lot of interesting areas and geometry and has improved a lot over the last version. Looking forward to more versions if you decide to continue, would definitely play it.

I can totally see how adding textures will change the dynamic significantly, definitely something I'll have to focus on sooner rather than later.

Please do more mapping videos. I used to make maps and textures back in the day so I find this very interesting. Your map looks well planned out but you’re right, only way to find out if it’s good is playtesting with real players.

I'd be excited to see this map more filled out with textures and objects. Also would be fun to play

If you feel like rating this map in the Steam Workshop I wouldn't be opposed. Just sayin' steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2063820758

The map looks epic, and if this map ends up big you'll have infinite map awareness and game sense on it

It'll be fun to see people playing on your own map because you can see the strategies that are developed and possible bugs

100%. That's one of the main reasons I decided to do a "proper" release in the Workshop. I already got a ton of feedback from folks.

I really love seeing your style of developing everything. In combination with mapping your approach is actually a perfect match. Especially since your map creation is meant to be explored by other players directly in contrast to the vast gameworlds you create for the lets plays which rather serve beating the game in the most astonishing ways (which I enjoy aswell). Via this map people can dive straight into your creation or world an play in it. Do you have a setting in mind for this map? I suggest keeping it in a quite simplistic style which means no overwhelming textures or super cluttered objects. Have you thought of giving this map a live playtest with your community on a small server? I will definetly play this with friends hope to get some feedback. Keep up the great work.

While I don't have a set theme in mind yet I definitely want to keep the detailing to a minimum. I'm definitely not a fan of super cluttered maps either so minimalistic seems like a more sensible approach. In case you missed it, I mentioned some of the themes I was thinking about in the first gameplay video I did: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6O1nJSnaJx8qK8

BEWARE, your fun base is based on Cities Skylines, and Nydal series has around 30k views. Meanwhile CS:GO and Minecraft videos are less then 5k views. In my personal opinion, you should countinue with Cities Skylines - start a new city or finish Nydal, idk...

I understand where you are coming from but lately I've been a bit burnt from playing Cities so I'm easing things out and experimenting with other projects. While I appreciate high view counts, since I don't do this for a living I usually prefer to work on things that bring me joy rather than crank up content just cause of viewership. And who knows, maybe these types of videos attract a whole new audience that I didn't have before. That being said, Nydal returns this week :)
