Good grief ! You can even make newspaper look fabulous ! I love that you always embrace the true meaning of junk-'journaling'. Using excess and free materials for your projects...AND making them look so good. You show that you don't REALLY have to have 'fancy-schmancy' things to have a beautiful outcome. You fire up the imagination to use things that we all have access to for nothing. Don't have stamps ? ...try this. Don't have this ?...use that. Perfect. I'm no stranger to making things work on the worth of my own dime...but sometimes I'm distracted by thinking I need or would like fancier things...and you bring me back down to earth. They are nice to have...but I'm always more impressed with making something out of nothing. And you are genius at reminding us how it's done.

Eva, junk journaling is your super power! This looks so beautiful❤ Thank for showing us an alternative to the distress ink. It’s very expensive here. I actually like to see the junky parts, I.e. postage marks, newsprint, barcodes, etc, as part of the ephemera. Creative recycling. Less stuff in the garbage.

What a fun project! Although medical tape is not acid free and therefore not suitable for acrhival projects, it is fine for items like this and more economincal to use than say, bookbinding tape for reinforcment. (Newspaper is not acid free either, but it is free!) Thank you for sharing!

#600 👍🏼 As I’ve said before, I love your creativity, your transformation of anything made of paper is 🤯 I think it was about 6 months ago that I made a comment on Tim Holtz live of a project that one of his makers made, that got my comment removed and I was blocked, They only thing I said was, kinda of looks like Eva’s, a pocket here a pocket there.
