Now its over with big supply,Peak for UK was 1999...and 2005 it became a net importer... this was uploaded around the time when the oil price had its all-time high of ~147,50$... a few months later (Christmas 2008) the financial crisis caused a deep fall from 147,50$ to 30-40$, until the price reached 100$ again in 2010... but inflation adjusted the 147,50$ from 2008 are over 150$ now, and soon will be more like 160$. Lucky there is another oil boom in the USA again, I think its the 3rd in the US :D The US-Reserves of shale oil and gas are very large... and Canada got its own oilsand boom :D
