We need more women writers. I'm mean just look at the magic they created!
@fraddi3 жыл бұрын
Zoya mentions Raazi. Lets not forget that Raazi's story was altered from the original to suite a certain demographic. Hence, the producers,writers and directors HID THE TRUTH. Even a new age female director can be as corrupted as their male counterparts.

The interviewer needs some more grey cells to match that of the four ladies, without being sarcastic, this was surely Not made in Heaven!
Nitya and Alankrita hardly got 10% of the interview time, while Nitya was ran the show on this series, so that's just not done

Loving the series.. each of these women directors are primarily writers with an enviable amount of EQ and observational skills. Also love this interviewer who asked very layered questions ,had her grammar and punctuation in place and super poised. Else the quality of TV journalist is poor.

Simple .. bollywood audience give more importance to actor than director .. if movie success, it is bcos of actor performance... if not, director is 'chu××ya'

The show was one of the best pieces of content I have watched in probably the last 10 years. No kidding.. And what a pleasure to see the 4 directors (and the interviewer) talking - I could listen to them talk for hours.. Great interview.. I haven't watched gully boy, but - their explanation of how Murad's father was a creation of the society we live in, which colonizes people, and how his wife & kids are the only two people he has power over - wow!

I think Zoya Akhtar, is one of the finest examples of feminism, if she is a feminist. Such women just uplift the society . The way she handles the questions in an unbiased way, is beautiful and deserves attention.

So Far, seen the half. Somehow, the anchor seems a little unprepared for the interactions. the web series, movies and every thing is good. But, the questions majorly looks repetitive, from old interviews happened with female directors, producers. MIH, is a good series and has so much to highlight about the reality of society and customs. wish, the questions were better.

Marriage was never sacred ever before. The induction of the idea that a marriage is the sanctum of all human values and standards set to be followed, imbibed to the next generation is so based on the mispresentation, misinterpretation, misleading of 'religion,culture,tradition' amongst the humans of the land. There is never a perfect human, and never a sacred marriage and if we for sure believe that marriage is made heaven. Such a fitting series for a new year which could stitch a fabric of 'renaissance for revival of values' into our society.

The colorism and featurism is loud and clear in this series. Only paler skin Indians are showcased, 90% of the country that consist of beautiful rich deep brown skin toned Indians. Very disappointing and cringe worthy. Shame on casting, the directors, writers and actors. You have a responsibility to demonstrate an honest depiction of the country, people, and culture.
