Seeing how she seem to likes those kind of high octane chaotic kaleidoscope games, perhaps she'd like Asura's Wrath? Its a really over the top fight'em all kind of game with kind of repetitive gameplay at times, but the bosses entirely make up for it by being absolutely insane, and it has a big emphasis on quick time event for many of them. The only pet peeves I have with it is the weird episodic format they went with when making the chapters of the game, its like they tried to make it like a tv anime a-la DragonBall Z were they expect the audience to have a goldfish memory and don't remember what they did mere minutes prior, but otherwise I definitely recommend it.

The horizontal blade mode spam is undoubtedly a quirk of the game itself - it's the basic attack button, and while new players are taught that heavy attack will do vertical (or that you can free-aim it with the stick) they're never actually required to use it, so it just goes out the window for people who aren't "career" gamers.

I should get my girlfriend to play this masterpiece of a game and a meme. It’s really enjoyable to just slice down your enemies with banging soundtracks, and there’s so much more beneath the surface of this hack and slash. The final track, It Has To Be This Way runs parallel to Raiden and The Player, rather than Raiden and Armstrong, and Armstrong’s theme, Collective Consciousness played during the MG Excelsus fight. I know Kojima didn’t Direct or Produce this like he did the other games, but damn him and his colleagues are either the smartest people alive, or they are the smartest people alive. Anyway, do play this if you have the time, and if you want to be the true, best gamer out there, then go for the Stormbringer trophy: Beat the Game on Revengeance difficulty, and get an S-Rank on every section. You basically have to not get hit through the entire game on the highest difficulty

A series so ridiculously convoluted that you can play the games in chronological narrative order once, watch a timeline video, and understand everything. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Playing the ninth game in the series, which is also the last chronologically, first. Let's also conveniently forget the fact that there's an official database and Metal Gear Solid 4 made things as crystal clear as they could be. Edit: grammar.

I think it's time for her to play Doom Eternal, since it's basically DS with Big Fucking Gun(s).

The fact that she wanted to play this game just because of a meme is hilarious, but that's also 99% of the fanbase as well

If she likes how insane this game is, you should get her to play Yakuza 0.

I've been going through the Yakuza series for the first time, I'm in Kiwsmi 2 right now and it's amazing. The sub stories in particular are hilarious.

Seeing her so excited seeing the origin of the memes is so wholesome it physically hurts ♡ she straight up was getting pumped knowing what was to come and living up to the hype for her
