Glenn i agree with the drinking about lodge memeber i think if you going to have a drink then you should have a number of drinks you can have ie like 4 points and shorts so every have a lovely day, it is not the 1st time that i have put a lodge member out on the walk and if i seen a band member i would do the same but every marshall should all be doing the same thing, the only thing i would say when a marshall asks a band it keep up and then band doesnt then what should we do about this? FGAU

I think if there is better communication between the Marshalls and bands prior to a parade then that would go a long way to help with issues like you’re talking about. Gaps in the parade are an issue, it’s also about looking at what has caused the gap, like Derek was saying if it was a vehicle then a band can’t walk fast enough to make up the space, and it’s also about how you’re being asked to do it, guldering at a band isn’t going to work, knowing who the captain is and saying we need to see if we can close the space here, far better approach, just my opinion though.

i agree you are say and again i agree if they only spent time talk and working it out it would make a better parade ie if the band capings and the marshell set drown and take about things like this it would work out ok for the districts and then let the grand lodge marshall the front of the parade and the district marshall do there own district i think that would be a better thing@@MadetoParade
