‘Made us an international laughing stock’: Labor slammed over ‘farcical’ gold mine decision

Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger has slammed the government’s “farcical decision” to block the Blayney gold mine.
“This is embarrassing. We’re a first world country,” he told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“Without the mining industry in this country, we would be in a serious depression.
“This is not serious. This has made us an international laughing stock.”
