She's young and doesn't really know much about what's normal in a relationship and from this it clouds her judgment with a lot of things. The film touches more about the topic of domestic abuse and shows the help possible.

You can not have a relationship without some sort of abuse however you explain it. Just the Level of ABUSE is what matters if the other can tolerate it.

No one can watch a couple 24 hours who knows what each get up to or how the dynamics play out? There always is a stronger / dominant person either most all or at different times. Juat because things are not said aloud or complained about doesn't mean its not (abuse ) which the term it self is down to interpretation. If everyones relationship was observed abuse to some degree would crop up. The problems arise when people do not stay in their roles or have no clue about their role in a relationship

In different countries different aspects at play ? Can society and culture cause people to behave in ways others would deem ( abuse ) how so if its not complained about? Great example is rape - is it rape in a marriage? Depends where u are in the world ect
