I love your long form content, I’ve watched you pretty consistently for years and years because I love your youtube videos!! I like insta and tiktok content and creators but it isn’t that comforting to me. My fave thing to do at the end of the day is chill and watch your vlogs, you don’t need to be doing all the things other people are doing, I love what you’re doing and that’s whatever you enjoy doing!!! xxx

Stone houses need to breathe, the paint would definitely contribute to issues within the house. I always wondered why the previous owners painted such a beautiful building! The annex looks great, pat yourselves on the back for such a good job!

Yeah, if you’re only finding damp in the house in areas where the paint is I think it’s pretty clear that’s the cause!

Wow, the office building looks like from a magazine now, fresh after assembly! Great job! I can see how much effort it required, so really applaudable. New cushions are really lovely and seem to be designed for your home! No suprise you couldn't resist! I may go and look for the M&S cardigan myself, I have been on a hunt for one, hope it is made of cotton. Really nice episode overall! I must share I do really look forward to each new vlog and those Sunday long ones make me so excited to just cuddle up on a sofa with tea and start watching.💮

my friends have always noticed that I am a walking contradiction. the most competent loose cannon you will ever meet. so I sympathize with you- it is exhausting to feel like you are constantly fighting yourself because you have two opposite tendencies. It is so comforting to know I am not the only one haha. your videos always inspire me to conquer my negative thoughts and stay organized but also to rest well. thank you for all the lovely work you put into your vlogs💗

For what it’s worth I feel as messy and expensive as it will be to remove the paint, masonry should never be painted as it needs to “breathe” so it’s able to dry out not hold the moisture it is exposed to. So the mortar also tends to deteriorate behind the paint and you’ll have compounding problems and expense over time. I’m mot sure how your guttering is set up in the UK as I’m in the states and the guttering on our home is a what is known as a French drain system. All of our down pipes are connected to a larger pipe that is set in gravel around the perimeter of our foundation that then drains to the back of our property. You and Alex have done a fantastic job of taking on the care and maintenance of your home. Wishing you continued joy in your home. TYFS❤️

You and Alex have done a fantastic job on the Annex building. I would paint the shed the same color as the Annex. You picked a beautiful color and it would maintain some continuity for your outbuildings. You can use the stones to landscape around the shed. I would also suggest getting the gutters fixed or replaced to see if this fixes the interior mold issue before either repainting or striping the paint off your main house. Enjoy your channel and format 😊. And it’s still cold where I live…the snow in our yard only melted last week. 😂

I know it is not for everyone, and can still be hit and miss, but I use Vinted to find long length trousers and jeans. Because I know in general that Marksies and Next long length fit me I have a saved search and it will tell me when new items have been uploaded. But I get that sometimes we just need something quickly and without too much fuss and complication. But thought I would share my little tip.

You are your brand. Just do what fuels you. Slow and steady is the way to go -quality over quantity. You are doing a great job.!!!!!❤ As far as the wall goes, assess what you have to do this summer if it’s a busy summer, maybe two university kids could do it. Also ask the paint store about putting anti-mildew elements in paint because the wall is in an area that does not get a lot of air or sun exposure As usual, thank you for a video and a break from my day!!

I smiled so much when you were going through your travel kit items...pulling so many things out, like a conjuror :) Three items extra I'd add would be a strip of antihistamine tabs, a small pack of plastic-free wetwipes, and hydrating eyedrops. Loving all the paint work on your office...that beautiful colour works so well with all the Cornish light-level variations, and the gold highlights on the metal work add a really lovely touch.

I’m just about to turn 30 and I’ve realised how much we criticise ourselves. That bread looked absolutely flipping delicious and I hope Alex wasn’t beating himself up. Life happens, but make sure you remembers in those moments to take care of yourself and not beat yourself up about the bread sticking. I know this is easier said than done but I think slowing down and not putting too much pressure on ourselves is so key to be happier in these little moments. Sending love! And I now want to make bread 😂❤️

You won't need a carpenter, get a good door and window fitter. They will do soffits and facias, in wood or pvc. And guttering. It will be much less expensive. We have white facias and we're advised to get black guttering, we initially thought this was mad and would look awful. But we trusted the chap and he was right, they look much better and the guttering doesn't look all stained from sun and weather like my neighbours does

I like your approach to sustainability because it’s much more … well….sustainable. Just yesterday I did some alterations to a couple of “fast fashion” sweaters that I have had for over a decade. It’s given them new life and I fully expect them to be staples in my wardrobe for years to come. Now, they aren’t great in that they’re acrylic, but at the time I bought them it was still really hard to find good quality wool where I live that didn’t cause massive skin irritation like I can now that it’s become popular (and before I taught myself how to knit sweaters). The cost per wear has been zero for ages now. That matters, too.

Regarding the weather. I have the same thoughts and worries. Living in the Czech Republic, I have never experienced weather this weird (I bring it up to my partner all the time). January was super super cold, like unusually so, down to -14°C with super strong wind (almost no snow). Then, last weekend, we had almost tropical weather, 27°C, I went out with our dog and burned my shoulders immediately. Two days later, temperatures dropped to 9°C and now, a week later? We have 4°C, there's snow in higher places of our country and it's been super windy throughout the passing months too. It seems like the nature is super confused and it makes me confused too. Scary. P.S. Love the project! It looks so good!

Re Instagram - you might already do this sometimes but maybe use a clip or 2 from your renovations or walks on your stories? Hi, maybe you could hire some one to do your social media posting? You really talk a lot about it and it seems like you are a bit deflated. I don't really know if there is a perfect answer. It doesn't sound like you have enough time. Can you imagine how its going to be in the future when you are a lot busier (like with starting a family). I know there are people who do this sort of thing, editing - social media management. Perhaps your work life balance would be helped out and then you wouldn't seem so deflated.
