I think Stephan was drugging Maddie. This time she woke up and fought back (explaining the scratches on his arm and the gash on her head) and he got mad and panicked because others were in the condo and then he strangled her to death.

According to the documents that have been released so far, there are photos that the demon SS took of Maddie where she was awake. I used to think that’s what happened too until I saw that. I do think Maddie was feeling confident and she decided to tell SS that she was going to tell.

It was said that he had scratches on his arms. Why was Jen not questioning him about that??? Her daughter was missing, and the last person to see her was Sterns, who returned with fresh scratches on his arms!!! Why wasn't she suspicious about that??? The only explanation is that she knew what happened to Madeline!!!

I don't think Jenn was in on doing Maddie in, but she was in imo , helping Sterns cover it up! I think maybe Maddie tried to tell Jenn what was happening to her and that's why Jenn told her she was going to disown her and kick her out when she turned 18. The reason I think this is because in the docs Maddie told her friend that Sterns moved out. And her friend asked why and Maddie ignored the question and didn't answer. Maybe Jenn saying she was kicking Maddie out was Jenn trying to keep Maddie quiet! Also Jenn's lack of emotions did not match that her daughter was missing! STUPID JENN! I have a theory that people may not like, but here it is, I think his SA had possibly reached a new phase where he could have been experimenting with the "strangulation game", whereby he strangles his victim until they become unconscious and then stops and lets them come back, then does it again. It could have happened where she didnt come back and she died, or wouldnt wake up and he thought she died. Then he took her out to the car and strapped her in front seat ready for 7.15am when he could legit say he was taking her to school, but was really going to find somewhere to dump her body. I say this because if he had been abusing her body since she was only 8 yrs, then he could have been looking for new ways to excite himself and it escalated into that sex game. It is just one theory, I do think your theory could be right too, but something set things in motion between midnight and 7am that morning and we may never learn the truth.

Yep I ben saying this. I think maybe he even gave her something to make her sleep ,and she started to fight when he was choking her. Maybe he just begin to choke her harder and she dies. Hus mom is described as mean and rough. I think that's why he goes for young girls that he can be in control of. She was not bossy like Jennifer. After all it was Jennifer's house, her daughter , her bed , her rules. If Jennifer knew what they were doing she will soon be found out. I looked it up. If she did the wash ,she definitely knew something was going on. And now Madeline is dead she will be in trouble.

I'm not sure if the evidence shows he killed her before he left the house. Rigor mortis usually sets in an hour or two after death. The report states her body was limp when he transferred her to the trunk while in the parking garage several hours later. If she had been deceased for hours, i'm not sure if she would still be "limp". I think he drove an overdosed child around hoping she would die. Maddie overdosing could have overlooked a murder, and could look accidental or suicidal. That would also explain the aimless driving. When she hung onto life too long, Stern panicked and strangled her. Just my theory.

I believe she didn’t know about her death right away but I think when the police showed up she started thinking he did something right as they were giving their first statements. When she noticed that he wasn’t answering the questions like when they asked him did she make it to school he didn’t answer he start talking about how she was supposedly walking but that’s not what they asked him. I also think she knew about the sexual abuse I think she noticed inappropriate behavior with him because I don’t see him being able to control it in front Jen much. But I’m wondering why did she speak about what she was wearing unless she helped him get her dressed.

u never even mentioned his flat tire lol...if he hadnt had that, we'd prolly never find her body! after that flat tire, he HAD to ditch her rigormortis body ASAP, thats why it was so easy to find, he might have drove into a remote forest or water body and dumped her there and it he hardAF to find her body..but i do think it wasn't planned out to kill her, he raged and snapped and just choked her out..maybe during SA maddy said NO or was awake fully to understand it

She texted him when she got home from the party to let him know she was home. based on cell phone activity she was always texting and calling him her friend said. She also told her friend who she had synced periods with that she missed her January period. I think she told him that and he couldn't have her be pregnant.
