Hi, teacher! Here's my homework: I managed to nip in the bud my English mistake of using the present simple instead of the present perfect when I was talking about something I started doing in the past and it's still in progress, just thanks to Angela cuz last year, I read on Poonam's account that Angela kindly explained to her why it's wrong to use it! I'll be always grateful to Angela cuz I also made that mistake and no one has never told me it was wrong! Mark was incapable of nipping in the bud his bad habit of being ungrateful to Angela! She supported his job, cheered for him, bought all his CELPIP books and made him cakes to celebrate all his milestones! Loved Angela's comments, and the one left on your 500 subs video touched my heart! Her was a comment full of sweetness and concerns and used lovely words to spur his friend Mark on! Really a true, loyal and angelic friend! By the way, you shouldn't have crossed the Rubicon!😞😢😞😢

I too loved Angela's comments , and the one left on the 500k subs video was a moving one! I did love that comment so much! Starting your comment by saying " here's my homework " was a great trick, by the way! I'll follow suit!😉

I also did love Angela's comments and jokes, and that comment of her own touched my heart, as well! 3 years ago, Angela used the "six-pack " slang while Mark and Angela were joking with each other on Mark's IG account, and I didn't know what its meaning was! So, I asked Angela what it meant, and she kindly explained to me the meaning of the slang "six-pack "! That day, we had really a pleasant chat ,and Angela was so willing to share her English knoweldge with me! Angela's tips was really helpful to me! You were right, Angela is really a true, loyal and angelic friend! Hope Mark is gonna cross the Rubicon back!

Very good and helpful expression, Mark . By the way, The expression Nip it in the bud, in Spanish would be " cortarlo de raíz " and it is the best we can do to stop things getting worst or unmanageable . Thanks a lot .

Glad to see you out of your car. 🙂 My example based on the mass immigration situation: The government did not nip the problem in the bud and now protest from locals have spiralled out of hand.

If God could have nipped Adam and Eve's rebellion in the bud, we would be living in Paradise right now. But He endowed all his creations with free will. Adam and Eve made the wrong choice, unfortunately for all of us.

If husbands start arguing and mistreating women, we should nip it in the bud before it leads to the end of the relationship and the displacement of children. I hope I nip it in the bud by talking about this problem , before it gets worse and leads to young people being alienated and reluctant to get married.
