Anime Central 2024 was by far my busiest event.. ever omg. The venue was huge, there were so many people, and we planned for it for months!! For once, we didn't sell out, so I do wish we left a little bit more stock for our smaller local shows but ahhh omg what an experience U
Thank you guys for all the support in Chicago, and I hope to have the chance to come again next year! I promise I will at least try deep dish pizza if we get invited again HAHA

Yasss so glad you did so well at this convention! It still boggles my mind how many expenses you must have doing these international cons and (hopefully) make the money back plus more! That’s such a huge effort! Glad you have help now! Hopefully your camera arrives soon! They’re hard to find here in Australia too (but I love mine, they’re so inconspicuous 😅) worth the wait!!

thank you so much!! it added up pretty quickly hahaha next year i definitely need to put a bit more thought into what shows i do and how expensive it might be aheh.. this one was still worth it for me since the profit was high and the airport/con/hotel were all really close! I just hate that so much product needs to be sold just to make expenses back :S I'm hoping to do more tourist-y ones next year so I can actually enjoy the travelling part of it too hahhaha

Ahh, it was such a pleasant surprise seeing your booth at Acen!! If you want to see the Bean next time, you could try tabling at C2E2, which is usually downtown so much closer to most of the famous landmarks 😄 Hope to see you again next year!!

First of all, so glad this show went well! Also as a heads up as an Otakon con goer for 10+ years (ew I'm old), be prepared for a BIG SATURDAY! Like every year I say "Oh I'll buy this on Saturday because Friday is to look around!" EVERY YEAR WITHOUT FAIL those artists work that I wanted....sold out. So yes, you are correct, the Otakon crow comes to SHOP! And we love to support our artists! Finally, be ready for your wifi to go out on Saturday. It's THAT BUSY on Saturday (it's literally insane). So maybe make it aware to your audience that cash would maybe be preferred??? But can't wait to see you at Otakon!

Ahh omg I'm nervous but also I'm ready to prepare SO MUCH STUFF !! i’m from texas and if you ever flew down for a con in houston or dallas make sure you have a good amount of bluebonnets!! texas does not play around with the state flower and you could sell a very good amount!!

I'm excited that you're coming to otakon, I hope I can stop by your table! It's one of the biggest cons in the area so I'm sure you'll do well!! Also regarding your Square payment issue, at other cons I've noticed that some international artists have like a Paypal QR code for people who want to pay via card/don't have cash so maybe that could be an option for you?

Thank you! I normally try to, but because everything is so far away (not walking distance) in the con area, our only choices were starbucks and the $5 bottles of water from the concierge :S We did try to bring our own water the other days!
