Did you use the siphon break when you hooked yours up. I used it and it leaks at it.

It’s on the back of the box tells you the direction to install it.

will this work in a sumpless rimmed tank and keep the water level at/above the rims edge?

I just received it my Ice cap ATO my red light keep blinking. Is that normal? Doesn't stay solid.

That's because of the interferences, such as small air bubbles(from skimmer)/algaes/strong lighting. The design's flaw!

Nice. It's similar with my micro smart ato. But that one is double sensor.

Just picked one up but I think mine is not working properly. I put the sensor at the water level and like 15 min later I hear the alarm because the pump lets water over the sensor .

This video was 4 years old. How is that product holding up now. Just wondering ? I wanted a tunes but it’s always out of stock.

I use this one more and more on different setups. The pumps do wear out and I'm not sure if they sell just the pump. I do like them.

Thanks for the review man! I'm planning out my tank and this is the unit I was looking at. Based on your positive review, I'll be getting one. Separate subject, but have you heard of a "Simplicity" brand protein skimmer? My LFS has them pretty cheap ($200 for the DC 120). They say they've had no complaints. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Just out of curiousity, would you recommend the ice cap if the prices were the same. Price is always a factor for me but I would not hesitate to spend the money on the tunze if I really need it

I have both and I've been putting them through the paces but I have to say I'm very impressed with the IceCap ATO. It can keep up with the Tunze and cost about $75 less.
