Bro 1st have glance on policy and resources distribution.... Bahun is only 12 percent of Nepal but have occupied 56 percent civil servant post 30 percentage army post....Even janjati doesn't get equal opportunity in gov. Service upto now.But they have owner of Nepali.But we are not given job and even not given respect.While tax collection majority of tax are collected from terai..But while budget allocation we don't get justible amount of budget...Large number of population get small amount of budget then how people living standard will rise.

There are always two (or more) sides to every story, the challenge being to sift fact from fiction between competing narratives. I do appreciate your attempt but further research is absolutely necessary to shed light on the nuances and complexity of the situation, for example, the role of a certain neighbouring country fishing in troubled waters. Simplification of a tangled issue will not help in conflict resolution, i.e., Pahadis versus Madhesis. Please read the constitution first before alleging that it is discriminatory. Of course, social discrimination exists in Nepal (and not only in Terai but also elsewhere) but I do not think that the constitutional provisions are discriminatory. Those who believe otherwise are free to do so but the problem is very few have actually studied the constitution and it seems that their protests are based more on hearsay/rumours than actual facts. The open involvement of a neighbouring country in the unofficial blockade suffered by Nepal further discredited the Madhesi cause. It would have greatly helped their cause had the Madhesis been able to neutralise foreign actors and present their movement as a fully grassroots and Nepal-based one. The Madhes (plains) region is more developed in terms of basic infrastructure and other facilities compared to the Himalayan and Pahadi (hills) regions of Nepal. To my mind, it is more a question of perceived injustice, discrimination and emotional distance from the other regions of Nepal, and in this context, factors such as language, culture and geography come into play. The people of Madhes might feel a greater affinity with people who share similar facial features, languages and cultures on the other side of the Indo-Nepal border. They might feel a psychological disconnect with the rest of Nepal. Gaining a better understanding of the psyches of the people who belong to different ethnicities, cultures, languages, religions and regions in Nepal would provide some pointers towards peaceful resolution of the conflicts challenging Nepal in a manner that is more or less broadly acceptable to both Madheshis and Pahadis.

I check 2017 Nepalese election results, what I saw appalled me. Nepali Congress and one major communist party of Nepal won nearly same number of votes in whole country , but seats won by Nepali Congress was half compared to communist party! Can u expalin me how ?

@Pritesh Desai You have obviously a lot to learn about the history of the region. If interested, do conduct research on Lhotsampas in Bhutan and Tsongs in Sikkim. Time will give its answer to the question if Gorkhaland will become a reality or not. However, I can tell you that the daydream of so-called 'Akhand Bharat' will never come true! Therefore, some Indians should stop flexing their nationalist muscles. Period.
