السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته What are some of the books of fiqh a layman can begin to seek knowledge from? And how can a layman learn properly if he finds no scholar or sheikh or student of knowledge in his community, and most of the imams in his vicinity are innovators?

@@Madrasatuna Ustaad kindly give the appropriate sequence of studying these books also what about Mulakhas Al-fiqhy and Umdatul fiqh , please guide me with the sequence, which to study first جزاك الله خيرا

One of these books is sufficient. They are all on suitable for beginners. I forgot to include Al-Mulakhas Al-Fiqhi, which is also a good book.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته After studying these books should the student be able to read and understand the Arabic scholarly books or would he require more knowledge in the Arabic language for that?

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته If you are able to read and understand توضيح الأحكام that's a good sign. You will become more familiar with terms within each science when you study that particular science. I would sincerely advise you to travel to seek knowledge with Ahlus-Sunnah. This is the best way to progress.

@@Madrasatuna How I would love to travel and seek knowledge and learn with the scholars but I have not been blessed with extensive wealth الحمد لله, so I try and make do with what is readily available بعون الله.
