It's true, but only in the faculty. In the institute you are obligated to memorize only Juz-Am (30th last juz), 1/4 for each semester.

assalamulaikum bro! madina university made a rule that, anyone who wish to study in scientific track should have a IELTS course with band score 6. If I complete IELTS, should I have to study arabic course also or I will be direct admitted to scientific track directly?..... another question: I am a Memorizer of the Holy Quran (whole).will it be effective for admitted in engineering subjects at madinah university?
