i went to nursing school a couple years ago but quit halfway through because being a nurse wasn’t for me, but the only place i could possibly see myself was OB. it was so amazing! we were only on that floor for a few days but i watched two c-sections and held a woman’s leg while she gave birth! i cried the whole way home

Yay!!! Thank you for uploading. I graduated last Saturday as a Surgical Technologist. I have 6 weeks of clinical left ( I know it’s strange I graduated but still have my last clinical rotation left). I have seen c sections and a whole bunch of other stuff! I HATE waking up at 5am to be at the hospital and scrubbed in by 7am, as I am not a morning person. Congratz on making it closer to finishing your education. Not to much longer. You got this. As for me...Lord help me get through 6 weeks of clinical Monday-Friday AND working full time🙏🏽.

My wife had both of our babies at fairview. I gotta say, the labor and delivery nurses are absolute angels. They stay so close and take such good care of their patients, they really deserve the recognition. Triage however.....

What exactly are the ATI exit exams? I’m hoping to start nursing school this fall and I understand that you have to take ATI exit exams like you said. Do these impact your grade? What do they do exactly?

I am sure you have answered this question but what made you choose the ADN path and not going straight into your BSN? I have been trying to find the answer but am having no luck girly! I’m so happy you had a great last day in the OBGYN floor 💖

in my opinion, there is no good reason to go the BSN route. so much more money just to get the same RN position. ADN and BSN nurses both take the same NCLEX and are both RNs. the only difference between an ADN and BSN is pretty much leadership classes. going to community college to get your ADN for way cheaper in 2 years and then getting your ADN-BSN your first year of nursing is the way to go, especially because some hospitals will even pay for you to get your BSN.
