January 8 lake Monona- skater went through- in front of Monona Terrace- emergency services were called and rescue preformed. Monona - Not Ready.

Was up on Petenwell Wednesday. Measured 10 inches of ice where I was and even a truck drove out when we were leaving! HOWEVER, many reports of 4 inches of ice still reported on that lake, so be carefule if you venture that way! As for the fishing, marked a few but only had a couple of bites.

Was up there in the beginning of December the lake was already frozen over by then not even close here in Madison on Mendota
