Both wigs are absolutely gorgeous !! I love them ! I do like the raspberry twist better in you because honestly, you have a very young face ! I don't know how old you are, but when you put the gray wig on, yes, it was beautiful, but it didn't match your youthful face - you have lovely skin abd teeth and you just don't look gray yet. I understand looking though, I'm 54 and getting some grays, but I'm not ready to go gray - lol! Infact, I just colored those gray hairs today. Last night I had a wig party, no I'd say wig madness and threw a bunch of my old ratty ones a way and reorganized my wigs. I don't know why, but organizing my wigs and straightening them all up relieves stress for me- except the piles of hair on the bed was crazy ! Lol! Thank you for another great vid. You're very pretty and that raspberry twist you just look so classy pretty !

Thanks so much for your kind words!😄 I’m 53 and not quite ready to wear a gray wig in real life either. But I’m interested in doing “research”. I know how you feel - getting organized relaxes me too and that way I know what I have! Hope you have a great weekend!💖

I have just ordered Madison in Roasted Chestnut. I have a few in Roasted Chestnut now and love the colour. I transitioned from my natural brown colour in two steps - I first went to Milkshake for a couple of years and now to Roasted Chestnut. For me, that was a very natural way to transition to the greys. Love this wig on you!

Thank you for the presentation Michele, the Raspberry is nicer on you I think, nice length but extremely shinny and bit bulky on the top back of the head, someday you might consider of making a video telling us which one is the best quality wig, as we don't have so much money to try them all, I know it might be a challenge for the companies etc, but would be good for us, thanks again.

You are very welcome, Dina!😀To reduce the shine on a synthetic wig, I recommend using some dry shampoo powder. I have a video on my channel about my favorite wigs of 2022 that you might be interested in - here is a link to that video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZvXiZqcn9Wnitk If you are looking for a similar synthetic style that is low density, I recommend Candace by Henry Margu.👍💖

It looks so very good, and both the style and colors suit you to a t (never seen one on you that does not)! Love there is an alternative for the discontinued Marion. Are the fibres dry like the previous collection or did they perhaps fix this? Thank you for the review ❤
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
You are too kind, thanks so much!😊 I wanted to but never go to try Marion, so I'm glad we have Madison now.👏 Madison also has an extended lace front, which Marion did not have. Regarding the fibers, I would say that they seem slightly drier compared to Cameron Lite, for example. If that bothers you, I recommend using some Simply Stylin' Light Silk Spray (pure silicone spray). Be sure to avoid getting it on any hand-tied portions of the cap so as not to loosen the knots! Thanks for watching!💖

I'm so glad I found you! I love your video reviews ❤️ I love this Madison style but I'm considering Drew by jon reneau. Problem is I don't like the length of Drew after the beautiful face framing layers then suddenly more length! I would need to have it trimmed at a salon so it doesn't look so choppy! What would you recommend or which do you prefer to wear The Drew orrr the Madison. I haven't purchased a wig in some time and it's a hard decision. Madison looks great You look beautiful in 6 33! That's the color for me as well. Any thoughts would be so helpful!!

Hi, I'm so glad you're here and that you found my reviews helpful!😀 Drew looks like a beautiful style! I have never tried Drew. I think there are quite a few similarities between Drew and Madison. Some differences include that Madison is made with synthetic fibers while Drew has heat friendly synthetic fibers. Also, Madison has an extended lace front, while Drew has a lace front that is not extended. Lastly, the nape measurement for Drew is longer. So, it really depends on what you are looking for. Good luck - I hope you love whichever one you choose!💖

@@micheleswigreviews I've seen all the video reviews of each so I know the descriptions. What I'm looking for is a light density layered bob, shoulder length, face framing layers that looks realistic and hassle free. Thanks Michelle for any ideas I prefer jon renau

Hi Patricia! Another Jon Renau style you might like is Elle. However, she is not light density. I love Miranda Lite and have trimmed her a bit. She’s a favorite of mine. Another favorite is Candace by Henry Margu. She is light density and has beautiful face framing layers. I have reviews for all of these styles on my channel. Hope you find a style you love.💖

Hi Michelle ☘️ I just talked to my local wig boutique They said jon reneau has itchy lace fronts. 😳 now I'm hesitant to order but not one video review mentions this so please let me know 🙏 what you feel with jon reneau lace front. Even with a wig grip my forehead is super sensitive to any scratching Thanks Michelle ❤
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
Hi Patricia! I only wear lace fronts in real life and don't find Jon Renau's lace fronts to be any more itchy than any others, but I also don't have a sensitivity. Are you able to go and try on a style with a lace front? I don't recall if I have mentioned this to you before but there are several ways you can try to make your lace fronts feel more comfortable: 1. wash your wig, 2. make sure your wig is not too tight or too loose, 3. add a piece of clear silicone scar tape to the underside of the lace to act as a barrier between the lace and your skin, 4. use a wig adhesive - this helps stop any small movements that can be irritating, 5. use a wig grip or cap and, if all else fails, 6. trim the lace a bit with sharp scissors. Hope this helps!💖

@@micheleswigreviews thanks Michelle! Those are some great ideas. Yes I have tried on some lace fronts at a wig shop in town. Some were like barbed wire and one was a jon reneau. I guess I look at your ideas, I don't think I have a sensitivity but maybe I do? Hmmm Well I haven't purchased a jon reneau in many years and I've googled that they are one of the most comfortable wigs to wear. I've also seen many Drew video reviews and not one mentioned any itching with the lace front so yeah, I have to give it more thought But not tooo much because I really need a new wig!! Thanks for your support and helpful tips! I really appreciate your time 🥰

Yes, I meant the Arctic color collection. (I'm getting old.) Jon Renau has one wig color that I like and it's Sleet from the Arctic Collection. I'd *love* that color if they brought the lightest colors into the front hairline to break up the dark knots. But Jon Renau doesn't do that with their rooted styles and they don't launch any wigs in the Arctic Collection for some reason. The few wigs that exist in "my color" aren't for me. Thanks for the review. I never get tired of wig reviews. ☺ @@micheleswigreviews

@@sallysmack9372 You're very welcome!😊 Jon Renau actually does bring light fiber colors into the front hairline for some of their rooted colors in some collections. However, as far as I know, Sleet is not included in this. Have you looked at Venice Blonde, 22F16S8? It should have the lighter fibers in front on Madison. Hope this helps!💖
@sallysmack9372
@sallysmack9372 9 ай бұрын
Don't like any of the California Blonds. I'm extremely taste specific when it comes to any kind of fashion. From Jon Renau's color pallet there's only Sleet for me. But that puts them ahead of HairUWear (the Gabor and Welch lines) which offers not a single color that appeals to me. Having a large head combined with being extremely particular about style and color has meant that I've been searching for my go-to wig since 2003. I've had some close calls, but no wins. 🙄 @@micheleswigreviews
