Another great video. Thank you! I wear mostly long, because I had long hair for the past 25 years, but you just sold me on Drive! Just ordered it. I only shy away from HF fibers on long wavy wigs, when they’re straight so easy to keep up. Very excited hopefully I will be brave enough to wear Drive out of the house!

Oh amazing!! As I mentioned, Drive is just one of my favourites!! I hope you love it!! And I agree about the longer curly/wavy heat friendly wigs. Super hard to maintain!❤

My favorite part of this video was when you mentioned "flippidy do's"!! I knew exactly what you meant, although I never knew what to call those before!! I will now always think of those flipped up ends as " flippidy do's," which is so stinking cute!!! 😂

I'm looking to get Drive and love this video comparison, thank you. How do you think the Jon Renau would fit on a petite head?
@chiquelwigs3 ай бұрын
I’m a petite head so I would say you can make it work! It fits true to average and I need to bring the adjusters in. There is also a bit of extra bulk in the cap, so it’s really about your comfort level and how much bulk you’re willing to accept 🥰

Me: 🤔 what one of my McQueens would look like without the little flips? Loving the lob/bob style. I would do bad things for an Alpha Blend that had an ear to ear lace front and a hand tied cap 😆 Thanks for the tips! I do own a steamer and have used it for parts. My flat iron is still in the box 😬 I’ve been on the look out for a hot comb brush that looks easy to use, yours does 🥰

Have you ever plucked the hairline of a lace front? I’ve got this wig I love from Belle Tress. It’s fully hand tied, but the lace front is too perfect. I’ve been scared to pluck it. Could you demo that?

Is madison a face flopper like drive is? Can you show how you would fix this issue
@chiquelwigs3 ай бұрын
Madison is not as much of a face flopper as drive, but is a bit when you get her out of the box. Check out my steaming video that I’ve linked the the description of this video! That can show you how to get it off your face. ❤️you could even spray with water, clip the fibers straight back, and blow dry at the root, being careful not to linger in one spot for too long. Let it cool in place for about 10 mins and then take out the clips. ❤

My first wig was much longer and thicker than my bio BUT love her just the same, or should I say those are the reasons WHY I love her. And guess what?! She’s an FF 🤪 face flopper 🤷🏻♀One of my dear friends and one of my SIL both have long and thick hair. I didn’t pay attention to THEIR flops until I had my own 😝 When I ask, “How to you stop the FF?” The response was laughter, then - - wait for it - - A PONY TAIL 😳 WHAT!? 🤣 My solution is to use clips or pins when I’ll be doing something (like bending over or eating 🫣) that the flop will be a nuisance. Otherwise, I embrace the long gorgeous hair that I could never grow, FF and all 🥰

I'm allergic to the scent of synthetic wigs. My eyes get really puffy and my eyes hurt terribly. I don't know what to do.
@sueburdett80663 ай бұрын
Do you own multiple wigs by multiple manufacturers? If that is the case, then you may actually be allergic. Some people are. If you only have one wig, try wasing the wig and see if the problem continues. If so, you may need to try other wigs from different manufacturers. If the problem remains, you mayhave to go with human hair.

You might in fact be allergic to the fiber. I developed an allergy to Rene of Paris wigs, and would break out in contact dermatitis wherever the fiber touched my skin. I wore bangs and my eyes were inflamed. My neck was inflamed where the ends touched my neck. I didn't have issues with other brands.

There are some great suggestions in these comments. I would definitely try washing your piece and maybe trying a different brand.

The only time someone came to me and asked me if I wear wigs is when I had drive on my head.... I probably have to pluck the centre part a bit and it hangs too sleek around my face...

How would a hot comb work?
@chiquelwigs3 ай бұрын
You can use it to redirect the hair, in the front or at the part. You could also use it to straighten this out making sure to use a low temp. But also making sure to pull the fibers straight so they cool straight. ❤
