Madison County Mission First Veterans Community Center: Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿!
The Madison County Veterans Service Agency is excited to announce the official opening of the 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗮! 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟬𝟲𝟱 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮, this space is designed for veterans and their families to connect, receive support, and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.
At the new center, you'll find:
- A welcoming community space for games, coffee, and conversation.
- A conference room dedicated in memory of Mark Mossman, a former MCVSA staff member.
- Offices where our Veterans Service Agency (MCVSA) team is ready to assist with disability claims, peer support, benefits, and more.
Special thanks to the Gorman Foundation and NY State PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program for helping make this project possible. Together, we're building a community where veterans can find the support, camaraderie, and resources they deserve.
𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦: The center also partners with Wanderers' Rest Humane Association to match veterans with furry companions! The program is called 𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢’𝘴 𝘒𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 (www.madisoncou...) Join us on Meow Mondays and Fur Fridays to meet adorable pets looking for their furever homes.
