Wow about your different specials times! Our specials are from 1pm-2pm every day. Our Kinders go to 2 specials a day. They swich after after 30 minutes. The specials' teachers switches them. So technically, they really only get about 25 minutes for each specials, but the teachers get 1 full hour of planning time! We do Fundations also! We haven't started small group yet! Heggerty is the first thing we do after after our morning meeting time.

Do teachers have free/planning periods every day over there?! The only thing our kids go to another teacher for is Music & then another teacher will release them for an hour (usually they stay in class & the class teacher chooses the subject they will be given). That’s it all week!! If they’re lucky they get both those sessions on the same afternoon but usually it’s split. We’d be a whole lot less stressed if we had free periods every day! Can I ask what other ‘specials’ you guys have? I’m guessing P.E is another (only private schools have a specialist teacher for P.E). *EDIT* Just seen the Specials timetable- so lucky! Lunch is also sooo early wow, we have snack at 10:15 & they go out to play at 10:30, lunch at 12-1 & then another break at 2-2:15. I started on Friday (just teachers) but kids start tomorrow!

Im in Ohio. I have a planning period everyday when my kids go to specials. Our specials rotate art, gym and music. The special teacher see them every 3 days. It's supposed to be a 40 minute period, but of course by the time you get them there, take a bathroom break and plan to go get them, you lose a little time.

I was watching the first school day vlog while you upload the first week video , and I'm so happy that's I'm going to watch , 48 of high quality inspiration thank you much Madison for this . I'm going to start my second year as an English teacher, last year i was teaching in the primary school from the first grade to the sixth grade and this year I'm going to teach in a middle school from the seventh grade to the ninth grade and also I'm going to teach the sixth grade, I'm so excited to start this experience specially it's going to be my first time teaching middle school students, I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time . I'm still also a literature student in the university in my second year so i do both teaching and studying i try to balance my time it's hard but it's affordable if you are organized .
